There used to be GM for the Reds named Jim Bowden who was just like Morey...stat based with a bunch of gimmicks. Fun while he was here but a failure when it came to results and he was out of baseball a few years later because his act grew old and was seen as going nowhere.
Agreed. Morey needs 2 go. There is a negative cloud around the Rockets and I think that is due to Morey. The culture here isn't right and it's time for a fresh face

Just because he's not black, just because other players don't like him doesn't change the good work he does. Morey is not out there playing making bad decisions. All he says is 3 points are worth more than two (which is obvious unless you are stupid) it's NOT illegal to shoot 2's like some try to make it out to be. For a cheap ass like Tilman.....Morey is perfect. Which is why I don't understand why you keep crying he needs to be gone when he has NO chance in hell of being fired. When you give Kelvin Cato a giant contract based on one summer league game you put in place contingencies so that could never happen again. Morey is that contingency so that the same mistake is not made and we are stuck in mediocrity for 10 years. You cry about being bounced out the playoffs by the probable eventual NBA champs.
