The media in Houston is pretty lenient. Him falling on the sword is like banning him to Disney World oh well.
The Rockets Tillman Fertitta honestly doesnt know what he is doing. The Rockets really need to Rebuild. The Team is getting older and more injured. 5 Points for Eric Gordon is inexcusable. And no talent on the bench is inexcusable. Releasing Isaiah Hartenstein really killed the Team Center Position.
When it comes to clever and unexpected trades there’s nobody better at it than DM. Now he’s going to have to do it again using EG, House and whatever other limited trade capital we have left. Finding the talent and making [mostly] largely successful trades has never been the problem with DM.
Already been mentioned but worth repeating, Tilmans dumbass will get rid of Morey as soon as he can financially bite that bullet. Too expensive for him to do it now.
Morey wasn't popular with some players before his infamous tweet as well. He was known for cold asset management, discarding players left and right. Disregarding chemistry. That's his weakness. He is making it up to star players by listening to what they need now. If it doesn't work, he just waives those players. (Carmelo) I think that's reckless abandon.
Small rotation ball with scrubs who can't shoot and no handles. Like opening a bag of chips with 60% air (balls).
Got me curious on the air. Apparently manufacturers call it slack fill, they claim the air is to cushion the chips so they don't get crushed. The air is nitrogen (instead of oxygen; to slow oxidation; prevent chips from getting stale). For real though, the snack sized ones, I've had maybe 3-4 full sized chips and crumbs. Felt like 80% air.
Tilman is basically agreeing to more mediocrity & Harden stat padding. The Rockets are going nowhere with Morey, and they know this. But Morey's great at shifting blame & making other ppl scapegoats. Having great regular seasons & letting James Harden run amuck is enough to keep fans interested I guess
Morey just said in an interview he is responsible for failing to get the right pieces around James Harden.
James Harden also didn't succeed in forcing Game 7 against the Lakers. Battier, Artest, Scola and AB0 did.
