Totally agree. Black coach and all old white players! With a sprinkling of Asians and Hispanics mixed in. We should go straight fusion on this b**** and flip the script completely.
Notwithstanding the humor in this thread... ... to the extent the Rockets have a perception issue among fans, players or media... hiring a well liked African American coach is not a bad idea, assuming that coach is also a REALLY good coach. minor point and perhaps should t be the deciding factor but worth a few minutes of thought for sure.

Give me: A black male head coach. One white female assistant coach. A Latino team physician of any gender. Two rural, working class, white small forwards. Three players of any race with relatives who served in the military (preferably fought in a foreign war). One player who was born with diabetes or overcame a childhood illness. One vegan. I want half the roster to be in strong marriages and the other half to be engaged or looking to settle down and have children.
