Dort would have played because of his defense, do you see any defensive studs on our roster that dont play? Why do you think Maclemore never played?
Donovan did a great coaching job considering he lost his franchise player and had to play with a rag tag bunch of journey men. They were predicted to be a lottery team
Vogel had a better team, honestly it's vogels dumbassery of insisting on playing JaWight MagHoward in Game 1 that it wasn't a sweep.
Because of the carona virus stoppage and the little time we probably have between seasons, you have to make quick choices for next season
Not surprised. He’s a very good coach but just not quite good enough to take to get over the hump. I understand we had a great chance in 2018 and while missing CP3 was bad it was such an failure of MDA that he couldn’t make even a minor adjustment but just stuck with what wasn’t working. same thing with the last few games this series. I don’t know who will be the next Rockets coach and it’s likely things end up worse but I’m not sure MDA could take us further.
PJ Tucker? Roco? House? They are all good defenders. Tucker should be all defense. Capela was also a good defender and we saw what happened to him.
Firstly this is flat wrong, you are only judging on titles, we never lost in the first round with him as coach. We made the conference finals and we never lost as favourite. Secondly, he never got the chance to coach his system because it is Morey who sets out the system and next coach will just do the same game style
Wish MDA well. I don’t think he’s trying to get in front of this. He’s tired of Harden’s shenanigans. House took the fall......the culture changed after we were down 2-1. It’s was obvious.
He needs to win a title in the rest of his career, Rockets need a change to comfort fans while Rockets have no chance on championship any time soon.
Best of luck to MDA. My question is, are we replacing him with someone of quality or will this be another McHale after Adelman? I can't take another 4 years of McHale-like coaching, even if MDA is flawed. I fear Ty Lue will just waste the last few years of Harden's prime. I guess we'll see.
how did he coach circles around him? Because he countered by going small? He had no choice but to do that. There wasn’t anything we could do if their role players were going to shoot like that. We were missing a key rotation piece also that limited what we could do with lineups even more. The lakers are just the better team. They didn’t luck up into the 1 seed
Remember this less than a week ago. Those that don't understand Tilman makes the decisions around here are once again given more proof
