"I never knew how to throw a fastball, never learned how to throw a curveball, a slider, split-finger, whatever they're throwing nowadays. I was a one-pitch pitcher." - Phil Niekro
Tucker is in cold streak, but he's keeping his Ks just a tad over 20% recently even with the Sombrero last night. With his power, he's going to be a very good player if he keeps his Ks in the low 20% category or less.
I'm not sure what this means. Springer has had 1 extended cold streak since he was a rookie that he didn't get on base or hit for power. Correa isn't very streaky if you get rid of times he was playing hurt in 2018 and 2019....though the same could be said for Brantley. Brantley has basically been like Correa except with more singles and less power when not playing hurt. Alvarez is hurt right now. Altuve may not have a pre-2020 reputation for streakiness, but he's had some power outages before. My guess would be Tucker will be streaker than all listed as he has a problem with rolling over pitches sometimes and he depends on elevating pitches which will lead to more flies.
Not even gonna say what I wanna say about "Ted's" AB just now, it's one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen a man do with a piece of wood.
So far this season, I expect Springer and Correa have about or a lower percentage of games with 0 hits than Brantley and Altuve. While I get that Tucker will likely be streaky in hits, and power, I don't get the comparison to Springer and Correa who aren't that streaky of hitters except when hurt.
