    The obvious came to fruition. The very thing many of us feared when the trade was made last summer.
    Westbrook is just a difficult player to build a winning system with.

    Credit to Morey and D'Antoni for pushing the limits to create a chance for this team, even after their hand was forced but the truth is just too obvious to deny now, and even harder to remedy.

    Gonna be an interesting off season.

    So... nobody is taking the top scorer in the league 3 years in a row? He just averaged 30 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds, 1 steal.... whilst shooting around 50% from the FG and shooting around 38% from the 3pt line in the series against the Lakers. Oh, he did that whilst getting double-teamed.

    Some people just talking so much bullshit on this forum.

    He won't have full control unless he has billionaire type of money and influence. Philly is his best shot or being the successor of Ainge.

    But Ainge is still alive and kicking.

    And replaced with who. He maybe possibly be the best 2 way player at his price point in the league. Any other time who he is with off the court won’t matter.

    the saddest part of the whole House thing is it’s so public and his family are victims of poor choices all while watched by the masses.

    Nope our D was top notch against OKC mostly and average against the Lakers.

    Mostly the shooting suffered and getting blocked like it's a block party.

    Interesting take on Vogel, I think he proved himself this series.

    Again Clippers are on paper favorites of it all but they rarely showed.

    I am not going all out for some empty promises.

    teams usually need a game or 2 to figure out how they want to defend Harden and the Rockets in a playoff series, but once they find something that works, it’s curtains for us unless we’re playing a team like OKC or Utah in the past where we’re just better

    the Rockets will never change what they’re doing on either end...it’s easy to gameplan against an opponent when u know exactly what they’re gonna do on both ends, and u know that they will never deviate

    u don’t have to worry about somebody new getting added to the rotation or lineups getting changed...if anything, the change the Rockets will do is to shrink the rotation instead of playing more guys

    u don’t have to worry about the Rockets defensive scheme changing

    u don’t have to worry about the Rockets doing something different on offense...we will never shoot midrange...we will never postup...we won’t hit u with a bunch of play calls...we won’t run any off-ball action...they can trap Harden who will remain at the top of the key all game, and the Rockets will keep doing the same thing to try and beat the traps and double teams

    it’s easy to contain

    it needs to stop...diversify, and stop being so stubborn

    Impressions of Harden’s postgame interview:

    -Harden seems more mature than ever
    -He seems to really like D’antoni and wants him to return. Started his answer to the question with “of course”
    -he seems really pissed at House. “Very disappointed”. He said House’s situation definitely affected the team.
    -says we need another piece (I take that to mean another real star) around he and Russ. He made a point to say “and Russ”

    honestly, these are the kinds of post that make people believe harden has value and/or can carry a team

    you just look at numbers and literally nothing else.
