You missed it. Had a "procedure" for some nerve pain in his neck...that's why he left that start in the 1st inning, was complaining about "dead arm" before that, according to Dusty.
Thanks. I was assuming something was wrong, but was too lazy to check and nothing jumped out at me until today. I am working on my Twin Towers model and my physics video.
Geez Framber. Not to sound “nerdy” or anything but Baseball Savant did not give him good xBA, xOBA, xSLG, etc. And TCB wrote an article saying regression was due for our youngsters. Hope the offense can pick things up.
Couple of bad fastballs up an over the plate tonight = 3 runs. Stros hitting the ball well and watch them caught, Dodgers sneak 2 right over the fence.
I love Uncle Mike and I know Betts is fast, but that looked like a weak throw. Edit: Okay, Betts had a good lead, and by the time Brantley threw he had already rounded third. Looked much worse when I saw it live. Also, I like John Smoltz. Seems like a great guy, knows and loves baseball. We're blessed to have him.
I don’t think Framber has even pitched poorly. Just another night where everything seems to go against us. Five runs on five hits in five innings. Meanwhile we can’t muster more than two ****ing hits.
Mike's arm is not strong, but it's usually accurate. 2 outs and Betts has speed and was running on contact. edit: just saw your edit. Yeah, Smoltz is good even when he's with Nepotism Joe, whoever the pbp guy is tonight is good too.
Can you honestly blame them? Would we, as Stros fans, not be doing the same? And I'm not saying they're right (but they are in part, we did cheat our asses off, regardless of other teams).
Big time. On the bright side, if they both win it all this year, we can hit 'em back with the "you're C*vid champions, not real champions!!" What do you mean 'regardless of other teams'? It's complete bull**** with all the hypocrisy of baseball and cheating. They can shove that 'holier than thou' **** up their rear end.
I mean what I said: that we cheated and got caught, and I don't blame fans of other teams for being pissed about it, because I don't expect anything else, it's what many, many Houston fans would do if the roles were reversed. Have you seen the NBA conspiracies in the GARM that have almost no evidence, but are taken as gospel? There is evidence here. This is all completely different from how I feel MLB and the media handled the cheating, league-wide, which was a cluster**** of a catastrophe
Ho-ly **** I thought LA was going to have all the fun tonight. This has all of a sudden gotten very, very interesting.
That was a great AB by Josh. The 1-1 pitch he swung at was totally unhittable. Then he nailed the next one over the plate.
