Not really. There’s not one team other than the rockets that plays the exact same way 48 mins a game and has an all or nothing rotation
Lakers played small, no Javale or Dwight, these last 3 games. 48 minutes of their own version of small ball.
Nope. They adjusted their game for the first time. It isn’t permanent like the rockets. And they even played Horton for the first time
True, but it's also true we could have beat GSW twice. It just feels like Harden (or maybe it's Harden/mda or maybe it's harden/morey/mda) have a ceiling to their game because there's a certain stubbornness to adhering to dogma.
You just pointed out that no team was playing 48 minutes of small ball in postseason and I just proved otherwise.
Oh quit being dense. There isn’t another team that does it like Houston. Gtfoh with that bs. A team that literally adjusted for the first time to play small compared to a team that hasn’t played a true C since February. Just stop
We never had an elite offense with Westbrook next to Harden. In hindsight trading CP3 was a mistake but we were really in a lose-lose scenario after paying CP3 the supermax. Should've just blown up the team and rebuild after realizing we couldn't resign Ariza and Luc. Minus half a dozen picks and swaps later, we've dugged ourselves in the biggest hole in a decade. Just blow it up and start over already but if Morey doesn't get fired, I predict him trading 4 more future picks trying to salvage this team which will only make it worse. In a way, Morey is a gambling addict, refusing to accept his methods are wrong. He just keeps borrowing more and more future assets to gamble on the current team and it keeps failing. The final result is us basically screwed for 10 years once Morey finally gets fired. The next GM will be set up to fail no matter how good he is.
but Harden is 3rd in PIPM though?? That's elite!! He's doing everything!! (except shooting better than 2-11 in what was essentially the team's last chance to make noise in the series)
when will Houston realize we need a 3rd star looking at the draft got a couple of good ones in this draft and next year also
You responded to me remember? The original post you responded to was me saying that the only teams remaining in playoffs are playing "unconventionally" i.e. small ball. Whether they play 50% small ball or 100% small ball was not the post that you responded to. And by the way, in the postseason, other than Rockets, Lakers have been playing 48 minutes of small ball in consecutive games. Adjustment or not, this is a fact.
actually you responded to my post. quit wasting my time if you're gonna be an airhead. the fact that you don't know the difference says enough about your iq
I did respond to your "unconventional" post. With facts. You just didn't like those facts so you want to move goal posts on my response. Per usual.
Nah you didn’t. You responded trying to being an airhead acting like there isn’t a difference. You wish you were on my level but youre not capable Lakers game 4 adjust to play small for the first time ever. Rockets play small for 48 mins since February. And have not once played a big. Omg it’s the same. What an idiot
Watching the Nuggets play, I can't help but admire their team. They don't have nearly the talent we do. Their two stars are playing awful - Murray and Nokic. Poor shooting night all around, regularly finding themselves down by 10-20 points at any given point in time. But they are fighting, all of them. Murray and Nokic arent giving up. They're going into the 4th still hanging around and in the game.
Lakers played small ball exclusively after 13 minutes of Javale "big" ball in Game 2. Lakers have been playing without a conventional center for 48 minutes/game since Game 3. Keep disbelieving me but even Vogel admits Lakers are playing like the Rockets. Just because you dont want to hear it doesnt make it less true.
Gosh man....imagine using basic FG% to evaluate someone's performance....good god, man yall just dont know anything. Yall gotta read a book or something.
Imagine being so caught up in an advanced statistic that incorporates "luck adjusted plus minus" that you feel actually watching a basketball game doesn't give one accurate enough information to make judgements about a basketball game. Sheesh man....get some sun or something. You know Giannis was 6th on that list. How were his playoffs? Your gonna tell me his stats were good, right?
