Option 5: you're a straight line Republican voter, which may circle back to any of the previous options.

trump tries to defend his lying to the American people about the seriousness of the COVID-19 by lying about President Roosevelt and Prime Minister Churchill... showing his complete ignorance of world history and his willingness to lie about anything to defend his failings.

Trump twists history of Churchill and FDR to cover up pandemic denialism

I guess trump, despite know how deadly the COVID-19 virus was and how it could be easily transmitted via the air... just didn't care, or cared more about his campaign rallies...

Maybe they didn't. Maybe there's a side award called the Noble. Or maybe they just made it all up.

I'm curious what the spending is here in MN because I've seen more Trump ads than Biden's I've even gotten a few Trump mailers.

This was 9 days ago...so some things might have changed, but it's the latest info I could find

    https://www.startribune.com/minnesota-screens-airwaves-begin-to-fill-up-with-campaign-ads/572287662/

Campaign ad wars begin in battleground Minnesota
The Trump and Biden campaigns started airing ads Tuesday and have reserved millions in airtime up until Election Day.

Minnesota spending is really deceptive. The Twin Cities media market stretches into Western Wisconsin and the Duluth Media Market does as well. So there's a lot of spending in Minnesota that ends up targeting Wisconsin. It's hard to distinguish spending targeted at Minnesota voters vs spending targeted at Wisconsin. I'm not sure how much of that was actually spending targeted at Minnesotans (I'd guess very little of it was).

I do think that Trump's campaign realizes that they might actually rely on Minnesota flipping red because some of the polling in Michigan shows that Minnesota might actually be more achievable & if they lose Michigan they have to have Minnesota flip their way to have any hope at winning the EC.

I personally think the Minnesota play is more or less an admission from the Trump campaign that Michigan has turned back solid blue and they are screwed.... right now...

who knows what could happen, and I do expect the polls to look tighter still in the coming weeks, but this election unlike others will be set in stone pretty much after the first debate. Most pollsters like David Plouffe are pretty adamant that really about 70% of these "undecideds" are actually Trump voters given their voting history so really it's just about basic math. Biden's going to lose a little, but a state like Michigan, if the polls hold someone steady and only swing in the margins of those 70% of undecideds/independents, the state is won by Biden pretty much for certain.

Trump might not know this, but his campaign sure as hell does. Which is why they have for months focused on the hope of Minnesota.

Yes that is true that you get a two fer one with the Twin Cities and Duluth markets. Trump and his campaign though are making a serious play for Minnesota. They only lost by 1.5% and they clearly feel they can win the state.

trump knowing that affordable healthcare and pre-existing condition protection are popular, flip flops his position...

Up is down: Trump lies that Biden would 'destroy' Obamacare's protections for pre-existing conditions

He’s also wrong. We took an oath of enlistment that technically expires when that enlistment is up.

The idea of it never expiring is a mantra that many veterans continue on with, but there is no obligation to it and no regulation or rule on record.

For him to push this type of mantra is sad, especially since he is a military vet himself. He doesn't deserve to call himself “honorable” after a tweet like this.

Edit: looks like he pussed out and deleted the tweet.

    Actions speak louder than words.

EXCLUSIVE: Trump administration secretly withheld millions from FDNY 9/11 health program

The Trump administration has secretly siphoned nearly $4 million away from a program that tracks and treats FDNY firefighters and medics suffering from 9/11 related illnesses, the Daily News has learned.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) is equally as disgusted.

“The Trump Treasury Department siphoning congressionally appropriated funds meant to pay for 9/11 workers' healthcare is an outrageous finger in the eye to the firefighters, cops and other first responders who risked their lives for us," Schumer said. This needs to stop forthwith and payments to the workers' health program must be made whole — and now.”
