Rockets should have never traded Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, and Montrezl Harrell. those guys and with picks? the rockets would be contenders right now.

Morey has been a good GM for the most part, but I think his time here may have run its course. Going all in on Moreyball was a mistake IMO. When they traded Capela, they said it gave us a better chance at a post season run. They were wrong. We barely got by OKC and our lack of interior size is getting exposed by LA, even if they're going "small" themselves. I'm really not looking forward to watching this same kind of small ball team next year if they stick to this strategy. We're worse than we've been the last several years and I think the window on this team is closing fast if it isn't closed already.
Morey ball and Small ball mix. It's one or the other not both. Morey ball is finding productive high ceiling players on the cheap. Morey has nothing to do with coaching and player adjustments. It's MDA that like going small.
What else do you do when your PG is Westbrook? The acquisition of Westbrook was the end of having a center.
I have been the ONLY ONE on this site who has been asking for Morey and MDA to move on before tonight and have been grilled for constantly suggesting their the problem. I knew I eventually would be proven correct. You are a total moron if you can’t see after tonight that this system is an absolute joke long term. Playing 7 man rotation and being short wears a team out long term. It takes too much out of these guys to have to battle the much bigger guys. They laughed at us on TNT after the game.
Morey is really good for the most part. But he does make suspect moves almost every year. The only time he didn't was when we were the #1 team in the league and he didn't trade anybody. Also, if we do let him go, who is out there to replace him.

Morey would already have a deal in place an hour after the story is leaked of how Houston plans to fire him. He wouldn't even have to wait.
The system is MDA and the wonderful chokers, I mean players we have and the coach is from Morey who hasn’t ever ever ever been to the Finals and never will be. One good thing he’s done is trade away all our first round picks so that we have no young talent coming in to save us. His trademark will always be trading for players and then having to attach 1st round picks to them so other teams will take the trash off our hands. Wonderful GM!!!!!!!!
Typical Houston overrating our players (aka House). Nobody wants Morey dude. MDA will be picked up way before Morey. Look up Jim Bowden for reference.
