The Lakers are double teaming him because our offense is extremely predictable and Harden is very easy to double due to his stationaryness
If we do lose the series it might be time to move harden and move on from Morey. Morey has wasted this dude’s prime. He’s gassed once again.
You built an offense around Harden all year where he fiddles with the ball for most of the game with no movement especially when there’s no transition game and it’s completely shut down when they double Harden. Well, who knew that would happen? Totally unpredictable!
What the hell do you want him to do from a double-team at the half-court? He did an excellent job of passing it out of the double-team. You honestly want us to lose every game so you can blame Harden for it. It's quite funny.
Then, that's not on Harden, is it? If Harden is doing his job to force the double-teaming and his team isn't taking advantage of it. How the hell is that on him? That's on his teammates and the coach to set up plays.
How many times have we had this discussion? I want him to find other ways to get good looks besides dribbling the ball up the court and hovering at the top of the three point line. He also has a habit of holding onto the ball and waiting for defenses to trap. That's the worst way to desire a double because that time allows the Lakers to plan their double effectively where the pass out from Harden doesn't do damage due to how they space the double. He just makes it really easy to double him. He's very easy to take out of the game in the 4th. Harden always puts himself in a position where he is infront of all 5 defenders. He doesn't find different angles to score the ball and get a look.
I know what Harden and the rest of our 3 point shooters need to get that extra lift on their shots when their legs go tired. Jimmy can hit 3s late in the 4th! Look at Jimmy go!

The defender cannot impede the progress of the off ball player. Harden can easily call for a screen and run curl actions and get free. He never does that stuff. Not only would it get him free but it would discombobulate the defense and make them scramble in out of place positions.
He's literally doing everything on the defense and offense. He's carrying this whole team and has done for the past 8 years. You honestly want him to run around like a mad man just so he can help out Westbrook? He would be dead by the 3rd quarter if he was running around just so Westbrook can look good. Besides, we're spacing the floor so we're not exactly running that kind of play. Westbrook should be taking advantage of that double-teaming. Do you know why Westbrook can't? It's because he can't shoot consistently. They just sag off him and force him to either shoot a deep shot or force a contested layup, or they force him to pass it out. We're losing this series because of the paint defense and because our bench can't compete with their bench. Look at the numbers. They're killing us in the paint and from their bench.
Like a mad man? Why does he have to run around like a mad man? Is that how all players who run off ball do it? You practice it. He doesn't. That's a problem. Deal with the criticism.
We're not running that type of play. We haven't for the past year. Where have you been? We stopped doing that type of play as soon as we got Westbrook in.
I know. I want them to run it. That's the point. They don't and Harden probably isn't willing. If he was, the coach would obviously have schemes run for him to do so when he's being doubled walking up the court.
How many bad games does Harden have to have before posters on this board realize you aren’t winning a title with him as your best player?
It’s his damn team. The Westbrook trade was all him. $47 million into one player who can’t shoot threes on a team with an offense designed to shoot a blizzard of threes. This whole roster stems from that trade. He’s the leader of the team.
Admit it. You've been praying we'd lose this series, haven't you? You honestly love it when we lose. You couldn't b**** about Harden in the first 3 games because he was actually carrying the Rockets...... but, when he has one bad shooting game, you're on his head. Yet, even in this game. he still had 21 points, 4 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks.... all whilst getting double-teamed for most of the game. And that's considered a bad game for Harden.
