Long season he can comeback after 3 games...but when he comes back he better return to his form last year because he was really solid for us last year.
Football is football. Everybody loses important guys. You have to build your roster with that in mind. Hope he gets better soon. Lonnie Johnson time?
Ideally yes. But is this roster built that way? CB was probably their weakest position before the injury. Conley was a #3 guy playing as a #2. Now you will have to have a #4 guy playing as a $2. And the trickle down effect. So either Hargreaves or rookie John Reid is going to have to play as well.
Word is John Reid looks like a steal and is ready to play immediately, should mitigate some of the issue until Conley comes back
Maybe. Aside from college, they've only seen him in training camp and scrimmage. Hopefully he balls out but that is a lot to expect out of a rookie in an offseason with less training camp and no preseason.
I like Conley... that's too bad. I didn't hear anything about it being a season-ending injury though. Hopefully John Reid is a good as all the hype he is getting.
That's great, and he's always been more of a safety since he was drafted and his size/skills package became apparent, but somebody's gotta play CB, right?
Janoris Jenkins pick sixed Brady last game. Suspect secondary and we didn't try to get him when he was waived last year...
This is what I'm talking about. Settling for mediocrity. Wonder why this team can't advance out the divisional round.
I wrote that after Logan Ryan got picked up I believe could be wrong tho. But anyways there really isn’t that many options out there at the moment.
I didn't mean for that to be a shot directly at you. These players are serviceable but the Texans could have done better when free agency first begun imo.
