Nope. 2/3 chili on 1 side of the bowl, 1/3 beans on the other. Mix as needed. Cornbread recommended.

You can pour salsa in your face and chew around the crunchy bits at your leisure.

There's a reason Texas Chili cookoffs immediately disqualify you if you add beans.

Enjoy bean soup with meat. It ain't chili.

i used to go like every tuesdays in the early 2000s for the cheap wings. is it still a thing? I'd down the hottest sauce they got and then spit fire in the toilet later that night.

Your ignorance is almost, almost, endearing. But mostly it's ****ing annoying.

I have never understood the beans with Chili wars, I like them both and sometimes prefer beans in the Chil and I live in Texas.

It's filler and doesn't belong in a true chili recipe.

Think about something you truly enjoy. What is your favorite food?

Again, friend, I'll spell this out for you:
    • you do not cook chili and beans together
    • you cook them in separate pots
    • you can serve chili and beans together as you wish
    • just as you can serve chili with many other things:
    • onion, cheese, cilantro, peppers, sour cream, crackers, chips, cornbread, etc...
This is not that complicated to understand, even for a guy who willingly spent time in Lubbock.

People do weird things to fill the void in their life. Myself included, of course. I am well aware that rooting for a team just because a billionaire made me pay for a stadium somewhere near me is dumb - and yet, here I am watching this Game 2.

Never seen anyone ever do this.

Have you seen Texas Tech girls? If you have, that's one of the most idiotic things you've said. Anyone who visited Tech knew this.

Oh sure, I've seen Tech. Much like any large state school there are many good looking women.

I chose, instead of living in a place like Lubbock, Norman, Gainsville, College Station, Lincoln, Baton Rouge, Stillwater, Waco, wherever the **** in MissiAbama they have schools...

...I chose to live in Austin despite the erudite charms of Lubbock, et al. I think I made the right choice, and the women were ok looking I guess, UT obviously is pretty poor in that regard, compared to Lubbock, and I'm sure you made the right decision for yourself.

I had the fun of going to Blinn on account of my Hijinks in HS. Knew plenty of folk in CS and in Austin. Spent a year at both.

A&M was good but the good looking women were sparse and they knew it. A 6 acted like a 10 there.

UT had too many self-righteous twats to make me even consider it. Loved my friends there and they were always good. Most were in the band scene. Ironically, the most famous guy I know still doing major band work was in my class at Tech.

Tech had a ton of dumb pretty girls; most of which failed out after 2 years. Why wouldn't you enjoy that?

Never had my Finance degree sneered at by any company. Worked with Ivy Leaguers as well as your pride and joy...

You keep thinking that UT degree means much. We know you played Nintendo.

    Hah, just saw this.

Only time I put UT on a resume was between Soph and Jr years for a summer job in '95. That's also the only time I've ever submitted a resume, had that same job again 2 years later, then I got hired away from that job by my next job, who found me on that first job, then I later went back to that first job, then I worked for myself, and now I'm where I'm at.

Oh, and we played some Sega in the dorm that first year. 4 man NBA Jam and Hockey was excellent fun. Never been a video game guy since then really (and so what if I was?). Nice attempted slur though, ya ****in weirdo. Love ya, Jimbo.
