This is why it was smart to start Gordon over House. Because if Gordon is going to suck like he has all year the Rockets aren’t going anywhere in the playoffs whether he starts or comes off the bench anyways, so why not double down and go all in with him starting. Because the Rockets ceiling is higher with him starting and hoping he gets back to normal, especially defensively since he is a more disciplined defender than House.

That OKC game 7 really notched up his level of play. Now playing like a legit 3rd highest paid player in our team!

EG's offense is come and go at this point but what makes him irreplaceable to this team no matter how much I'm annoyed at how he flails his arms every single damn play he makes is his defense, surprisingly he has become the one of the key defensive cogs on this teams he is like a 3rd version of PJ Tucker and Robert Covington we rely on him to be one of the key switchers on defense he guarded everyone from AD to Carushow pretty decently.

Plus his ability to drive and dish is always there so really his 3 pt shooting is just a bonus at this point, great if its there but even if he is misfiring you still keep him on the floor cuz he does a lot of other stuff.

who cares what he does in the regular season? as long as his A game is here in the playoffs. exactly why he had surgery, and exactly why we've always been title threat, considering that we were winning even without him.

now that's he's back, look out NBA!

    i'm ready for the clippers.

He was being criticized fairly for playing like crap. He should be praised the same way when he plays well. That seems fair since he's basically on a 5yr/$90M contract.

Playoff Gordon is why he is starting.

Glad to have him back, MDA was absolutely right, EGo deserves to start over House based on talent/skill.
