Doing it again Marvel versus DC. Both are superheroes who do not innately have superpowers but are enhanced. In the case of Black Panther both through a mystical herb and vibranium suit. In the case of Batman through superb technology. One is a king of a super advanced country the other is billionaire with seemingly unlimited wealth. Both are acknowledged to be at least genius level intelligence. This is a two part question. Who would win in a fight and who would you rather be?
In North America, Batman is probably the most popular for DC. Even when comics don't sell well, batman books gets off the shelf. One can maybe argue internationally the Superman logo is still more recognizable. For marvel, maybe Wolverine or Spiderman is #1 guy. Although topic is not on popularity, popularity do drive comic/movie creators to 'level' them up significantly. In the comic nerd world, whenever Batman v. a DC Meta (person with superpowers), they factor in infinite 'prep time'. Batman has infinite time to prep and defeat all members of the Justice League, even though he's a regular human. Black Panther, has a very cool design and a nice back story. The recent movie has raised his profile in the public consciousness. I copped out and went with the last choice.
Batman wins but would rather be T'Challa, richest guy on Earth, king of a beautiful country and gets his royal penis cleaned daily.
Man......being able to “play” an Uber-rich douchebag as my alter ego who is expected to nail all the hot chicks in town.......Bruce Wayne sounds pretty awesome. But I’m guessing T’’challa has a BBC, so being him would be pretty cool too.
How does Batman beat Black Panther? Batman relies on his opponents' weaknesses or to otherwise slip up. Black Panther has no obvious weaknesses and would never be bothered to leave Wakanda - the most secure place in the world where everyone he cares about, lives. BP would have home court advantage all day, err day. Unless Batman plans to nuke the entire world and somehow survive the blast (and only himself), that'd be the only thing to make T'Challa nervous.
Black Panther stats: Owns the richest and most technologically advanced country in the world. Married Storm from X-Men. Net worth: $90.7 trillion from Vibranium resources alone. Bane-like superhuman abilities from heart-shaped herb without the side effect of roid rage. It also gives him the ability to go into another realm only former Black Panthers reside in, allowing him to speak to the dead. In the top 3 or top 5 among the smartest people in the world. Has a suit that absorbs both physical and magical damage that can then be charged and used against an enemy. Meaning he can fall from a skyscraper and come out unscathed even if he were to swan dive into asphalt. His sister is in the top 3 among smartest people in the world. Has an entire country's army and technology to aid if necessary. Doesn't have daddy issues. Has no issues with killing. In Secret Wars, BP controlled the dead and could reanimate them back to life. Batman: Net worth: $9.2 billion Doesn't have a better suit than BP Doesn't own the most advanced and richest country in the history of the world. Doesn't have the army of the most advanced and richest country in history of the world. Has daddy issues x10 Gotham City crime rate is still awful despite "help". Stalks troubled youths to recruit into his vigilante justice system and gives them daddy issues if they didn't already have them. Main villains are usually the mentally ill.
Not a lot of votes for Black Panther. Apparently vibranium doesn't cut it. It Batman can get hold of Kryptonite couldn't he get some vibranium and make his own suit? Also for the crossover I'm copyrighting, "THE BAT VERSUS THE CAT!"
That’s what I’m saying. Gotham would be on their own and I’d be on an island somewhere. Someone would have to step up. Maybe robin? I’d put him on the payroll. If I was choosing a superhero to be I’d want to be one that could fly through space. That would be pretty awesome.
T'Challa isn't crazy traumatized by his father's murder. People giving it to Wayne because he's ambiguously flawed yet brilliant. More with less? BatPanther.
