The fate of the election will be in the hands of the most powerful man in America, John Roberts.

This is the least shocking thing I have heard in some time.

The Trump campaign led by Bill Barr has made it clear for some time that they will contest the election if Trump loses.

They will do everything possible to remain in power and likely have already discussed this in detail with some of the SCOTUS Justices.

Nice attempt at playing gotcha, but the voters sent Obama/Biden's party packing in 2016 in large part due to the historically bad recovery from the downturn.

Trump's trusted more by the American people than Biden on the economy.

Yea Trump's great, he took a Trillion dollars of deficit money and gave to corporations in a time of prosperity so they could buy back stock and make his stock market numbers belie the real income of Americans. Imposed import tariffs saying they would decrease the trade imbalances when they cost consumers money and the trade deficit is worse . And they made the world retaliate having a direct effect on America's farmers. He supported "clean coal' but the industry is rightly dying. Did not get involved in the Saudi/Russian oil war that killed the Texas economy (the time and place for an import tariff).

Why do they trust him again?

Because they have to flush their toilets 15 times? ha

Ah yes, the Very Good Debater that the Trump folks have said is suffering from dementia for the better part of a year.
    Quote Tweet

NEW: Trump’s aides are downplaying expectations ahead of the 1st presidential debate, telling us Biden is a seasoned & “very good debater.” Still, they’re looking for ways to trip up Biden so he has to “reboot.” More from the great @nancook and me: https://politico.com/news/2020/09/04/trump-biden-presidential-debate-prep-408651

If you say two opposite things you can always claim to have been right or in the GOP case, they're both right.

You cling to that while you can (and ignore the margin for error)...

Not surprising considering what a pathetic National response Trump took towards opening up and pushing dollars in his pocket over human lives. When leaders of most of the world can do better, it's hard to deny what a terrible leader he is. Even he can't lie his way out of this one without looking like a jackass.

u can't possibly be this ignorant.

W tanked the economy, tried to bailed out the financial industry, but failed
Obama inherited this mess and then successfully bailed out the financial industry,
adding economic stability / growing the economy resulting in > 70 consecutive months of private sector job creation

Trump inherited this growing economy, but due to his ineptness as the POTUS,
after 38 mo of job creation, the economy tanked,
losing more jobs than any other POTUS in history,
unemployed climbed upon 20%, the highest since the Great Depression.
which goes to show, like everything else he had inherited, Trump manages to find a way to F*** it up

in 2016, many voters in Biden's party, especially black women---in particular in Mi, Oh, Wi, Pa---because of their disdain for Hillary's aura of entitlement, as well as her put down of Obama during the 2008 Dem Primaries, opted not to vote. this explains how Trump was able to win these 4 traditionally Dem state by a combined total of ~~ 80k popular votes. in terms of electoral votes, it was like 80 to zero

My gosh... how would you like to be the government official tagged with having to walk back trump's insane lies? And as a result, you have to tell an only slightly less ridiculous lie (referring "generally")...

CBP chief has no evidence of black-clad Antifa protesters taking planes to protests, says spokesman
A spokesman said that during a recent Fox News interview Mark Morgan was referring generally to the fact that many protesters travel from out of state.

Trump can just debate himself claiming all the lies he's already told are fake news. That would be quite interesting since you know, we have them all on tape.

What do you think the reaction would be if Joe Biden challenged Donald Trump to an arm wrestling match at the end of a debate? Would Trump accept or slink away?

Trump would accept, make a big show of getting warmed up, put his arm on the table, and then immediately poke Biden in the eyes and kick him in the balls. He would then grab Biden’s arm and try to slam it down, but would be too weak to do it, with Biden recovering and immediately winning. Trump would then say that Biden cheated and that he didn’t actually win because he cheated. Bill Barr would come running out and say that Trump is correct and Biden cheated so Trump won. Trump would then go around campaigning and saying that he easily slammed Joe Biden’s arm down and through the table while Joe cried like a little baby.

Even though there’s video footage of the entire thing, Trumps cult following would believe him.

Unfortunately, austerity was a stupid choice by conservatives then and will be a stupid choice now.

The issue has been demand not supply.......
