A week full of September baseball and the Rockets in the 2nd round is every Houston sports fan's dream. Hope Bregs doesnt rush back too early & Jose's balls are ok.

Dude is running as fast as he can.

He's hauling a trailer behind him, give the guy some credit.

    The good:
    Greinke was masterful
    Uncle Mike on fire!!!!
Sneed has looked better lately, the one mistake to Choo aside
Taylor has been super reliable, what a find

    The bad:
Perez, despite escaping unscathed, but not after allowing traffic and struggling with command
    The Diaz/Gurriel miscommunication

    The ugly:
    Altuve’s injury (prayers up)
    Toro’s baserunning around 3rd

The only issue I have is he wasn't running hard to first initially and he was ball watching. Then, he turned on the jets. I just think he should have been running hard the whole time and took notice of the ball rounding first. It all worked out fine this time. But, it might have cost us a run in another scenario.

Took the series...now the brutal part...9 games in 7 days, 2 doubleheaders with only 2 days in between, but at least we may have some reinforcements on the way with Bregman, Urquidy, Peacock, and Devinski getting close.

Smart move getting Greinke in today instead of McCullers...means Greinke pitches one of the Doubleheader games and hopefully can save the bullpen a bit that day with the other starter up in the air. Also means you can pitch him on normal rest for the 2nd game of the Dodgers series.
