Altuve did a dumb**** slide into 3rd when no throw was in the neighborhood, and properly messed up his balls. The hardest he's hit balls this season.
Dang. Why didn't Diaz at least try to dive? Josh and/or Yuli would've been able to back him up if he missed.
Yuli should have peeled off, and Diaz should have screamed that it was his ball. They both tried to avoid a collision, which results in no collision and a popup hitting the ground.
**** the rangers broadcast. They showed a list of swings and misses for the Astros and started talking about the scandal. Everybody had a 2% difference from this year and 2017, with the exception being Reddick at like 7%. Now theyre just harping on it. Edit: They just brought up how Verlander didnt allow the Tigers reporter in and badmouthing him for that. Now showing the timeline of the happenings with telecasts. LOL **** off. MUTE!
It's Dave Raymond and CJ Notkowski. Both have axe's to grind with the Astros for losing jobs with them. I put no stock in anything they say about Houston.
They are possibly the worst in MLB. Raymond is just milqetoast boring, but both Tom Grieve (home) and CJ Nitkowski (road) are insufferable dumb****s eta: i turned on a Rangers/A's game a couple of weeks ago, and Laureano happened to be at bat, and immediately Raymond goes into how "it was an embarrassment, and the Astros don't need more embarrassments" and Grieve said that Cintron should have been, not suspended, but fired. I hit mute as fast as I could.
Ive never really had a problem with Raymond. Hes always kept it reasonably civil, but today and just now was a complete different story. Nitwitzki otoh has always peeved me and has always been a bitter ex employee.
They say Altuve has knee discomfort but are they just being nice not to to say his balls have discomfort?
