After the Rockets lost game 6, I must have seen a hundred posts saying that the Rockets would lose game 7, Harden sucked, MDA and Morey should be fired etc. Those posts made me sick. What kind of fan counts their team out before the game has even been played? If that logic held, the Rockets would never have won anything. if it was up to me, everyone of you would be banned from Clutchfans.

Oh, and by the way: WE WON game 7.

    Elvis.

    Elvis has left the building

Had we lost it would have been heartbreak hotel and we'd all be shook up.

But Harden blocked that shot, a great 'return to sender'.

    Haters suck.

Why is this so binary? They barely won and didn't look great in most of the games. By now this incarnation, under Harden and Morey, is supposed to be contending for a championship -- not barely sneaking out a gritty first round series win.

If Morey is as good of a GM as he's perceived, then he knows the makeup of this current roster has glaring holes.

When your "championship" caliber team is teetering on epic collapse, I'm not sure that's worth celebrating, barring an upset of the Lakers.

Yeah seriously. Have faith your team!

Now harden has a nice little highlight as well. Chris Paul and all his nonsense sent home yet again by Harden. He should be on his knees thanking Harden for getting him past the second round ONCE

You are clearly a casual. No one ever looks "good" in a game 7. Its two teams fighting for their season. Everyone struggles to score especially in the 4th. It comes down to effort.

We didnt look great? We beat them by 20 ppg in the first 3 wins. Refs helped them in two of the losses. I said coming in the thunder are a difficult matchup considering are weakness is quick guards that can break down defense and they have a versatile stretch 4 in gallo and an elite perimeter defender. Why do people act like thunder are trash like they shouldnt have a chance? Its a 4/5 matchup FFS

I saw more frustration, worry and panic about what could happen if Rockets lost to OKC than people actually predicting Rockets were going to lose to OKC.

And the people that were actually predicting a Rockets loss (I don't think there were that many), It was a coping mechanism. They were preparing their bodies in the event the Rockets do lose to cushion the Mike Tyson Blow.

I forgive them. I understand it. That sh*t was scary as f*ck.

Nice post OP, but to answer your question it's called viewing experience.

Once you seen your team win a championship, then you know what it takes.

Given the current track record of the team, every game is a nail biter. It's been pretty close. No one else is at ease.

The Rox 93, 94 champ runs were solid.

Being pessimistic or critical isn't "fair weather". Fair weather means you don't really follow the team when they are not doing good.

True, but let's all enjoy the fact that the Jeremy Lin fans are gone, at least! Now those were some faithless Rox "fans."

the fan base here in this forum is so negative and loser it is painful.

literally the whole time its "we suck" and "blow the team up" think how bad it would be if rockets did blow it up. these people hate life.

its a window into their loser lives and projection. you can tell they have lost their whole life.

literally mad the rockets won. its a disgrace
