If the Rockets get eliminated the Rockets must trade Russell Westbrook, Eric Gordon and find other Pieces.

Or do a complete rebuild and trade James Harden to the Warriors for the 2nd Pick in the Draft and rebuild from there.

At least James Harden can really win 3 or 4 Championships in Golden State.

His reputation will be sky high. He is a Championship Winner and a Clutch Player.

The Rockets with James Harden feel like Kevin Garnett Timberwolves always failing in the Playoffs.

Kevin Garnett traded to a bigger market with other Star players he won a Championship.

Morey just got an extension. The only way Tilman fires him is if he can talk his son into being the GM on the cheap. He's not about to pay for two qualified GMs at once.

IMO the biggest question of the night, and allow me to preface with I believe TheGoodGuys will win the Laker series will be epic, is which would be worst for the future of this team as we know it:

    lose tonite or
win tonite and get swept embarrassingly in the next round?

    Hmm...

We've got another year of this core anyway, may as well try and make a move for a shooting big.

    Like, a real, athletic big.

Not Tyson Chandler or Chuck Hayes.

A part of me wished we somehow drafted Luka.

We would've been set for another decade but all good things come to an end I guess.

I'm old enough to remember when people said the same thing about Dirk Nowitzki, particularly after going out to the Warriors in the 1st round after winning MVP. He was in year 12 before he won a title.

I'm old enough to remember when people said the same thing about Hakeem Olajuwon. He was in year 10 before he won a title.

Imagine if the Rockets had given up on Dream after year 8....or if the Mavs had when Dirk was labelled a playoff choker.

We need to cut bait with Harden if we lose tonight. Not personal.

But it was Tillman who wanted Westbrook right? Will he get rid of Morey for his own mistake?

Get rid of MDA first, then maybe Harden if you get young talent who fit with Westbrook.

True, but its more than just Harden at stake here. This is OKC....the team we swapped guards with and puked up those first round picks.

It would be less than intelligent to jettison a guy who finishes repeatedly in the top 3 or so in MVP voting because it stings more that CP3 was on the other side of one of his playoff losses.

But holy ****, it's bleak in here...the Rockets play in 45 minutes!!!

Westbrook is probably back to normal, should see him or harden go off. The rockets have vegas odds, so im pretty sure they will win. Lets hope so. They have 2 really good players on the team.

I think not only D'Antoni will be gone, Daryl Morey will be gone if we lose to the Thunder.

Unfortunately Harden is more than a player but a style of basketball (usually negative by the public). Unfortunately narratives do matter. Unfortunately I think we will be looked at as a joke if we run it back next with Harden and WB.

This isn't about optimal moves but sometimes things have a shelf life.

I don't give a flying flip about the public's narrative. The narrative on Dirk was EXACTLY the same thing. The national narratives may matter to you...they don't matter otherwise, and they change quickly. You don't give up on players with that level of talent. You'll spend 10 years looking for the next one.

Geez man...the game is on in 45 minutes. Keep those razors far from your wrists and enjoy the game.
