plenty of teams that go 7 and play rested teams win the series. Rest has nothing to do with it when it comes to finals runs
We absolutely can win this game. We need to cut down on the mental mistakes and we need to get shoot consistently from three. CP3 and OKC isn't going to hand it to us. They are mentally tough. Need to match that mental toughness.
Ok, mang, but with the short rotation MDA is playing don't you think more rest would be helpful? And Lakers likely get Rondo back for their 2nd Unit. Rondo/Waiters/Caruso/JR/Kieff/Kuzma/Dwight Dudley/Cook/HortonTucker Nobody knows if Westbrook is really 100 percent.
My attitude about Game 7: I don't expect our guys to win the championship. But I have thoroughly enjoyed watching our smallball defense. It's aggressive and gutsy and beautiful and a great thing for the league. And it would be a tragedy for us and basketball and all that is good and right if the team that plays this beautiful defense went out in Round 1. So let's go out and score enough points to move on and bring more joy to the world. And pain to the Lakers.
Lakers are 12 or 13 deep, they could just wage a war of attrition. By Gm 6 couple of our starters are banged up. Play Lebron, AD or Kuzma at the 5 to get PJ out. Sacrifice Rondo in a fight to take out Westbrook for a suspension.
The part that bothers me is all these losses are absolutely preventable. It's just frustrating I dont think it's a choke job its more of they dont all want it like this is our last game
If we win the turnover battle and shoot at least 34% from deep then it's a wrap, Rockets win. Need to take care of the ball above all else.
I'll just bet my money on okc. i'll be financially better if okc win. I'll be feeling mentally better if Rockets win. it's a win win situation...
Harden and Westbrook need to stop being soft and mentally weak.. Curb-stomp Paul and this crew of nut punching sh*theads
A lot of things should even out for game 7 though. I doubt Gallinari has the same performance. Westbrook literally can't be any worse. CP3 is unlikely to hit those insane 3's in the 4th again. We will not turn it over 22 times again. If we control the mistakes I don't see why we can't win this game. I will eat serious crow if Gallinari and CP3 repeat their performance though.
It doesn’t matter. Big Picture: it took all HOU had to beat OKC. That doesn’t bode well against a LAK team that would of either swept OKC or gone 3-1 at worst. Again, this HOU team doesn’t have what it takes to escape the 1st round and if they eek by, well HOU will do what HOU do.....
Outside of game 1, we just keep bricking open 3s. This series would be a sweep if we can hit open 3s and stop choking in crunch time.
Im fairly confident in Game 7. Give OKC credit to grinding out a few wins but I am a firm believer of the better team wins in a 7 game series. Plus, you can look back all 3 OKC wins and point out a significant Rockets flaw in the game (free throw discrepancy, turnovers, etc) - and OKC still had to inch by for the W. Russ knows he played like crap and that in itself should be calming for us Rox fans. He, Harden and others will come out ready.
