Every shot by EG was either flat or going right. He needs to use more leg, fingers and wrist. He needs to go against his instincts and push the ball harder and higher. And don’t use that left hand at all. Somebody needs to tweet my words of wisdom to EGo!!
MISSING HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN'S SHOT? The difference is when Gordon's shot is falling, he's a really good 2-way player. When his shot isn't falling, he is trash, but at least he's still respectable on D. Lou, on the other hand, is always horrendous on defense, and when his shot isn't falling he's an unbelievably huge negative.
His shooting this series is unbelievably bad. I wouldn't have thought he could shoot it this bad even if he tried. If we would have kept Clint and given him seven 3's a game, I bet even he'd have average better then 18%.
Gordon only problem is he’s moved 2/3 feet deeper on his wing 3s... causing his shot to be short. Similar to Harden now shooting 30ft and front rimming top of the arc I don’t understand why our stats department haven’t corrected this - I’ve noticed all year and it drives me nuts ... a step behind line Gordon shoots way higher %
Literally one of the worst offensive players in the NBA this season by most metrics. An actual coach would have benched him long ago. Unfortunately our coach does not actually coach.
It's almost comical to see how broke his 3 point shot is right now. It's almost as if he's getting paid to miss. Odds he goes off in game 7??
All the hand waving and flaying he does whenever he goes to the basket to buy a foul has messed up his shot mechanics. His shoulder joints are probably all crooked now.
Actually, the one just before the halftime buzzer was a thing of beauty. He didn't have time to think about that one; just catch and shoot. This is all in Eric's head, and I don't expect it to clear up anytime soon.
