I'm trying to tell you I saw MDA tell Westbrook the play...MDA drew it out on his chalkboard....all of America saw it because the TV camera was showing it. It was while the refs were checking out the foul by RoCo on CP3. Bashing Harden for not running the play when it was designed by MDA to run Westbrook, is not Harden's fault. Harden in MDA's plan was to act as a decoy, so Westbrook could drive the ball to the basket. CP3 knew the decoy play, and blocked Westbrook's drive to the basket.

No he hasnt or it would not have taken him so long to reach conference finals. He has had plenty of playoff losses where he didnt bring it. He didnt go all out. He is not "the guy". How can you be the guy with a career ppg that low? Closers are bucket getters. Cp3 rarely has big scoring games. I hate this narrative. If we were never injured this series would have been over already . Instead the media and even some so called rocket fans will act like this is some great heroic effort by cp3 and the thunder. Refs kept them in the series in the first place.

I don’t think he’s disagreeing with that statement. His point is there are plenty of L’s to go around with this inept team. Harden IMO takes the biggest one.

 

You don’t get it. I’m not absolving Harden of anything. I’m saying Mike D’Antoni was absolute ass tonight. MDA’s fan club needs to admit that he’s just not a big time playoff coach. MDA teams have been choking in the playoffs for the last 15 years.

CP3 was 100% right.

 

I’d give Mike and WB larger ones but yes Harden’s L is pretty big. He definitely didn’t have the killer instinct tonight. For whatever reason it doesn’t seem to activate for him all the time. Harden stays very consistent but don’t really have those peaks you want him to have late. Those are the type of peaks the Rockets desperately need with this coach and PG.
