This thread will probably look silly after Westbrook has a big game, but cp3 can play 60 games. We could have just put him on the kawhi plan and limited his minutes. I think with cp3 we would have been the favorites this year.

He can cover the mid-range which we really lack now. He also is a good ball handler and will make the right play instead of playing hero ball.

i have my doubts cp3 motivates himself without the trade (and really he's sucked in most of the losses). this is like lebron over indy a few years ago. indy wins the blowouts, lebron dominates the close games. cp3 seemingly hasn't missed in a close game. cp3 would be fat and injured with us.

It's pretty frustrating watching his effort this year after he was out of shape and a zero most of last year's playoffs.

Hate to say I told you so.... but he’s Westbrick and always has been. Ultimately I blame Harden. When Tilman lost his ******* mind James was the one guy that could’ve stopped this abomination from happening but nope. Playing with his buddy was more important than winning.

fake news once again. he was already motived prior to the trade and he publically stated he was already getting ready for the season well before the trade happened. dumb trade. will always be a trash move. losers are easily fooled at thinking wb plays winning basketball

kd left his ass. pg13 left his ass. oladipo left his ass. sabonis left his ass. harden is at his mercy now smdh

how many wins did that count. It doesn't matter if you win by 50 or 1. its the ones who thought the series was over just bc the first two games were wins by houston. Boy was it a reality check after

Quit giving Morey a free pass you f$&@“ loser. Glad you are in the board room of the Rockets to know that Morey was screaming no, no, no to the trade he made. He was asked point blank about it and said he brought the trade to Tilman who gave his approval.

there are many posts indicating i never wanted westbrook. that doesn't change the fact cp3 went from submarining our season last year to now submarining our season this year because he decided to actually show up for some playoff games this year, and won't miss anything in close games. last time he hit 2 iso 3's in a row to save our season was...never?

Westbrook made some costly mistakes but at such pressure-induced crunch time, it seems Harden gave up. Last 2-3 minutes he should be the one setting up plays or taking the shots but he constantly looked gassed out, would not break himself from the defender, and used up so much time to get himself past the halfcourt line. After skipping so many games and only playing 27 min, it seems unfair to put the ball in Russ's hand for the final minutes of the game and it looked like he was forced to do it since Harden looked uninterested.
