MDA would be incredible if he inherits the Pelicans btw. My god, if Zion ever gets into shape, MDA will turn him into Amare 3.0 lol

IMO, It's championship or bust for this iteration of the Rockets. If they don't win it now, MDA is gone. Furthermore, this team will be dismantled completely. Fresh new start. Tilman gets to lick his wounds for a few seasons as the Rockets become lottery players. I'm okay with either outcome.

we can hate the mavs all we want but Carlisle is an amazing coach. Silas was a strong candidate before spending the last 2 years learning from him. not to mention his years spent under don nelson running a 5-out, iso heavy offense way ahead of their time. he's been groomed for 20 years under HoF defensive and offensive coaches. he's ready.

I started a thread years ago calling for Lue (then a Cavs assistant) to replace mchale. he's still my top choice but will probably command too much money. after Lue I'm going for Silas, then Hammon.

MDA can take EGo with him and in return Pacers give the Rockets Myles Turner.

Lue is reported to want 7M annually. Probably too rich for #Tilman.

yup. he, and Atkinson will be too expensive for tilman.

Silas or Hammon are still great options.

Our next head coach will probably be an unpaid intern doing the job for resume experience...

MDA has changed my opinion this season. Not because I think small ball 100% of the time is great coaching and personnel decision making... but because given the situation, MDA has done a great job coaching a scrambling small ball defense. I never thought I’d be praising MDA on the defensive end but this scrambling small ball defense is really good at times.

We’ll see how it works against the Lakers next series (assuming we win out) but I’ve been impressed with MDA on the defensive end and I never thought I’d say that.

Given the choices out there and where Harden/Russ are in their careers I think MDA should return on a 3 year deal.

I feel like MDA is likely gone if they don’t win it all.

That seems to be the general consensus as it lines up with what Tilman said earlier in the season. I think it's reasonable to assume that if Tilman was 100% determined to hold on to MDA then an extension would have been reached.

Honestly I think Harden, Westbrook and Tucker all love Mike! If Those guys want mike back then he will be back.

But it does not line up with what Tilman has said recently.

Multiple times he has said, MDA not going anywhere.

You could be right, especially if he takes team all the way.

Gordon and D’Antoni for Justin Holiday and Myles Turner(or Davinis but I figure they like Sabonis more)

    Pacer have to resign Sabonis.
