I don’t trust the As on this one bit...they’ll use anything to get an advantage. I doubt. They’ll get cleared by then, but both teams off Monday.
Pointless to create more travel to rectify this sort of situation. Astros are going to have to get used to not playing at MMP anyways if they want to go far in the bubble playoffs. There are some real cupcakes coming up on the schedule, so perfect time to get healthy and get in a rhythm.
Playoff in the bubble make so much sense now. So far we’re hearing Angels/Dodgers stadium for AL and Rangers stadium for NL. No homefield advantage for anyone.
San Diego makes logistically more sense than anything in LA. Houston/Arlington will likely split the NL. Fox also WS in central time zone as well.
More off days also mean less Biealik starts and possibly less games overall without Verlander/Urquiddy back (or Bregman as well... less optimistic on him).
Little kids are going back to school now and the chances of them spreading it from child to child is extremely high. So yall know what that means.
So I'm guessing Astros will lose 5 home games out of this and Laura. Crowd may not be there, but it appears teams in the West have played poorly on the road likely due to all the travel.
