...he could shoot 33% from the field, 25% from the three, and 45% from the free throw line.

Rockets players need to help a brutha out.

Trash talk him into shooting more.

With Dort in the game, Rockets could still win the 3 vs 2 argument.

Just drive to the basket every time for a 2.

2 points on a layup on one end by the Rockets > 3 point brick by Dort on the other end.

all that defense won’t do u much good in a playoff series when the other team doesn’t even attempt to guard u, and you’re not capable of making them play...it’s compounded by the fact that he keeps shooting like he’s some actual shooter who’s just in a slump and not a muscular version of Andre Roberson

Lu Dort defense just a tad overrated.

he had a cute little run, but people should know by now that there’s no such thing as a “Harden stopper”...he will eventually figure out how to destroy

even with all of Dort’s defense, Harden was just missing his usual threes...if he was hitting them, we never even would’ve heard this dude’s name

announcers riding him all game long talking about how he’s setting himself up to get paid nicely in the future...not with that broke, horrendous jumper he’s not

What good is all that defense when Harden is still getting an efficient 30+ every game? OKC as a team can’t keep him under control.

“Harden stopper”...lol, no...what he needs to stop is his shooting threes when left wide open

The face on Dort is like his trainer forcing him to eat a plate full of vegetables.

No need to trash talk at all. Leave an NBA player wide f%$kin' open at the 3pt line in the modern game and they HAVE to shoot.

    {responding to myself}

I mean, imagine how embarrassing that was for Dort. He played "amazing!" defense on Harden (holding him to 31 pts on 11-15 shooting in only 28 minutes!!! Incredible defense!). Meanwhile, James didn't bother to cover him AT ALL, half the time was at least 10 feet off him, and Dort was 0-9 from 3.

    Dort 8ppg on 26-15-43 splits. 32% TS

    4 for 24 on Wide Open 3s
    1 for 7 on Open 3s

Dort making Roberson look like Reggie Miller

    He needs to shoot more.

That's the only way to get out of a career lasting slump.
