This is part of the disease that is dumbass Donald Trump. He has normalized saying things that are not true, citing reports that do not exist, referring to “people” saying things to support some idiotic notion of his (as in “people say X to me all the time”) with no proof and no ability or desire to support the assertion. Trump is a disease that influences people, that makes it seem ok to say stupid baseless crap.

This country is worse off when people lie. When people make baseless claims. And when people do so, they then feel like they are being unfairly attacked. This kind of thinking and behavior makes the country dumber, makes engagement, discourse and discussion harder, makes problem solving and policy making harder. There is nothing good about it.

so quit being part of the ******* problem of stupidity and ignorance. Express your views. Do it intelligently. Cite actual reports. Stop making baseless claims. It’s really not too difficult to ask.
