No, I didn't say any of those things. Dude you seem to be interested in a different conversation than me.
So out of curiosity should people lose their inherited land or home? Should the money that your grandparent or parent earned and saved and already paid taxes on be taxed again or completely taken because they are no longer going to be alive? Do you think that the individual shouldn't have a right to say to where or to whom their already taxed money should go to? I would really like to see who here, if living with your grandparent or parent and helping them in their old age would feel when after that person died and left that house to you that you had been living in while caring for them, was confiscated by the government and you were forced to leave so THEY could sell your house to someone else OR force you to buy the house (at today's price) therefore tying you to a massive debt and lowering your net worth with the albatross of a mortgage around your neck. Seems real fair, doesn't it just to ensure you don't become too wealthy. PLEASE actually answer each question.
Sorry for bringing it up dude, I don't care about it all that much, and I don't feel like talking about it anymore, especially on the GARM. Just to briefly answer your question, I don't know what should be done with it. No, I don't think the government should take it and piss it away, if that's what you're worried about.
The real evil is corporate socialism... What conservative leaders don't want their redneck supporters to see is that they're fine with the government giving people money, as long as those people already have tons of it.
How in the hell does socialism "punish" the wealthy? In the US one can become wealthy if they work hard/cleverly focus on building a business. That we both agree on, yes? The US is a VERY business-friendly country (side note: it's easy to start a business in the US relative to other nations and also remarkably easier to essentially evade taxes by claiming "deductions". And I'm not even referring to offshore tax havens). What exactly does "socialism" mean in your mind? The fear mongering that you and others in this thread have implied that practically anything that dabbles as "socialist" is the end of the world. Objectively: does anyone think social security -- a very popular program -- could conceivably be instituted in today's hyper-political climate? Don't let the nonsense from one side fool you: a program like social security does not, has not, and will not result in the destruction of the capitalist system in the United States. Likewise, implementing modest improvements to other facets of Americans' lives will also not result in mayhem. Unfortunately any suggestion to beef up assistance to American citizens is met with some fearful semblance of SOCIALISTS AND SOCIALISM IS MARXIST COMMUNISM AND WILL DESTROY US ALL. God forbid taxes are barely raised on super income earners. God forbid Americans have access to better roads/transit, education or healthcare. God forbid we invest in the future.
LMAO do your homework on what socialism really is and why it has failed everywhere it has been tried.
Yeah, Canada, [many parts of] Europe, Japan with socialized healthcare and other benefits... They sure are struggling, what with their superior GDP per capita and higher happiness index. What a MESS.
You are are an idiot. Democrats are not socialists. Today they are Republican lite. The armed militias killing protestors are widening the gap.
Again, you area a moronic *******. Listen to yourself. The poor area only poor because they choose to be poor. There are billions of people on the planet who work way harder than you and will never be rich. Never live anything other than pay check to paycheck. They fdo not choose to live that way.
So instead of providing anything factual, you "attack" by saying that I should do my homework. Basically that is your instant defense mechanism displaying a [rather poor] attempt at re-directing focus of an otherwise rational discussion in an effort to give your mind false feelings of superiority and satisfaction in order to "win." LMAO what an argument.
Tell me what you think a socialist is and we can talk. Both sides of the isle are going to rue the day when more people like that 17 year old show up and when they're attacked put a bullet in one guys chest and another in a guys arm. What I found hilarious is a reporter that was there said the kid didn't know how to handle a gun. LMAO If this happens more often the rioters and looters will stop. Funny how standing up to these POS seems to work. BTW, I'm not talking about the peaceful protestors.
