Nothing is going to change once you're banned just like nothing is changing when players decide not to play.
Things absolutely change. It may not overnight but athletes are bringing all of this racism to the forefront whether you like it or not.

how can you unequivocally say that? we may not see any policy change right away but how do you know this isnt motivating people to go out and vote to put in people who will lead policy change? how do you know there arnt kids sitting at home scared and confused who just saw their heroes take a stance for them? saying nothing is going to change is like saying if you cant bench press 400 lbs on your first attempt then no point in going to the gym

Stick with the education because that opens up doors and opportunities in life more then anything else. I finished my electronic engineering course while I was in the army so once I got out went to work for a private engineering company.

Its making people pick a side and its making people talk. That's how change starts. If they had not boycotted then this whole thread would not exist along with thousands like this one. We also have a better idea of where people stand as in how many people don't give a crap about these killings and support them along with how many people just want the athletes to shut up and play ball.
