to be blunt, no...they don’t. And they believe liberals lie just as much, if not more than Trump.

various studies have shown you lie and are lied to hundreds of times a day. Does that stop you from going about your day?

Most liberals and conservatives are the same...they are motivated by fear and greed. Trump is gifted at invoking both. Democrats do the same.

I'll include @Reeko on this because he said something similar.

I'm not for advocating compromise with die-hard, Trump followers...there's no point, just as there's really no point in debating them on here (Same with some of our far-left posters that go way too far).

However, there are a number of registered Republicans jumping ship this election, I think we have a thread that lists them and we see daily about how folks that were Bush supporters will vote for Biden (hell, I voted Bush twice and have voted Dem since)...the question is how do the Dems keep them in 2022? Maybe those that I listed above aren't the ones that vote for Biden, but others on the fence will...there were a number of Obama/Trump voters last election and a number of those may switch back to Biden...but, will they stay.

That's my worry...I want to see progress and leadership in our government to where the country isn't in the state of disarray it is in at the moment. I'd like for the Dems to take the Senate back and send Mitch and his ilk packing, but I'd also like to see them hold it for at least 4-6 years and accomplish things that start to fix things that are broken: voting rights, gerrymandering, income inequality, infrastructure, police reform, national health care, etc. That will take time which means the Dems need a buffer so they don't immediately get voted out come 2022 and we're right back where we were in 2010. To do that, the Dems will have to appeal to some of these voters and independents in order to keep that buffer.

Because, while I mentioned Trump in my post above, what would be worse is someone like Mike Pompeo, Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz becoming president in 2024...then, the Republicans have someone in there that will seem competent and push their agenda and we'll descend even further into the oligarch-like state that we are becoming.

    I don't lie

    I hate liars

I am not motivated by greed, if I have fear, it's that our democracy is slipping into corporate fascism lead by the most ridiculous tinhorn I can imagine, it's really embarrassing. A ****ing clown and he's the US President.

Yeah I’m done after that. He said “I’m the ONE” Biden needs to be killing himself to court and then admits he disagree with Democrats and admits bias. Like why would the Biden campaign look at that voter and say... you know what.... THAT is what we need to be spending our money and time on.

And the BS around bias and the “very fine people” statement is just ridiculous. I don’t have argue with that. I’ll just replay what Trump said. When you put in context the entire conversation, his tone, etc. Trump actually comes off WORSE.

I understand where you’re coming from...most of the Republican party is a lost cause not interested in compromise, and that’s from the ones in Congress down to the citizens...Biden won’t get much of anything done unless Dems take control of both the House and Senate

Trump has been so bad, yet his support and approval rating among Republicans is what, 80-90%? Idk how u get through to people who put party over country and view the other side as the enemy. Republicans will think the libs are cheering on Covid deaths to make Trump look bad among other insane things. Covid initially was a “Dem hoax.” Idk how u try to compromise with these people. As for true independents and people on the fence, the only things I see swaying them are good policies and results. Maybe the Dems should also stop trotting out the same ol’ corporate types like Clinton who nobody trusted and many didn’t like.

    Notice that here.

Why are Trumpers so embarrassed by their guy?
Embrace him. He's your guy! You like him. You know you voted him. And you're gonna vote for him again.
*Not talking about you specifically RocketsEagles

    So called "independents"...
"I'm not a Trump guy but..."
    "I don't like Trump but..."
    "I didn't & won't vote for Trump but..."

"I'm not a Trump fan or pro-right but there's already so much anti-Trump stuff on this board, I post pro-Trump/pro-right stuff to "even it out"."
"I'm an "independent", "hate Trump" but the liberals/left [needs to do this, this and this].

Anyone who says I don't like either guy, I wish the two parties could find better candidates is probably voting for Trump.

Definitely voting for Trump and either some bullshit bot, or even worse, a human being whose lot in life and unfortunate circumstances of birth, has led them to the point of imitating such a bot

Vote your values and don’t apologize for it. Don’t be afraid to be yourself and hide who you really are. Remember your vote will cancel someone else’s. It’s okay... Because the Electoral college is all that really matters any way.

I disagree with this. I am one of them saying that. I don't like either guy. I wish we had a better democratic candidate, but ..

There's no way in hell I'd vote for Trump. Unless he showed up at my house and handed me $5 million. Then I would.

Trump has done America a favor. It shows how far we need to go as a country. There is ALOT of hatred, racism, bigotry by All Americans. White America needs to understand for Minorities to fix their communities, they must acknowledge racism is ingrained in the system and all must contribute to the solution.

But there is a difference. You say that and end with a definitive statement that you won't vote for Trump.
