[wojo]Playoffs to Resume

I needed a break from watching Eric Gordon play. My eyes were starting to hate me.

 

I got a good chuckle out of this but also found it a little sad because it shows how horrendous Eric has been

 

I still don't get how going on strike will prevent incompetent cops from shooting a man who walked towards and reached into his car. These cases happen multiple times per year.

Also, why are they silent on the white guy a few weeks back who opened his front door and the cops shot him dead within 2 seconds?

 

Okay, so they just needed an emotional break?

Do we have any idea if the players and the teams reached any agreements on X amount of dollars getting donated to a lobbyist organization?

Like what's coming out of this?

 

Maybe train the police better on how not to be afraid of black people. I dont know, read the climate of the country a little better.

Blake did not deserve lethal force no matter what he was doing and only a god damn coward shoots somebody in the back EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT. The same people who keep crying "follow the rules" were the same people who were storming state capitols with guns because they didnt want to wear masks.

If you do a per capita on the violence people of color have to endure at the hands of law enforcement you wouldnt be crying out reverse racism.

yESSSS I get to continue watching James Hardens brilliance!!!

 

Gives us a few days for Russ to get healthier.

Also gives me a break from watching Eric Gordon brick 40 footers 3 seconds into the shotclock and Harden getting locked up by a no name undrafted rookie.

 

Hey maybe best case scenario is Gordon has a great rest of the playoffs like Van Vleet did last year. Being positive: I don't think Gordon can play consistently worse than he has during the first four games.

 

At this rate, this season is gonna end after next season starts.

 

Let's see if cops in the US can make it till the weekend without murdering another black person on camera.

 

is next season really going to start? they can't put people in arenas and they can't keep players in a bubble for 6 months..

Blake didn't die.

But 2 other POC did during the aftermath of his shooting by police.

A 17 year old white male armed with semi automatic shot 3 protesters, killing 2, and police did not even restrain him.

Arrested later after complaints made and vid surfaced.

 

Get Russ the rest he needs, hopefully EG has been hitting the gym to work on his broken shot.

 

Must be nice to take a stand and change your mind 12 hours later.

If Rockets make it passed OKC, no way in hell NBA is going to allow Lebron to lose in the second round.

 

That's why the Rockets need to shoot better from the 3. The refs can't do anything about that.

 

At the end of the day people are not going to make change over 2 days of missed games. This needed to have continued IMO but we will see. At least Russ gets more rest and I didn’t have to watch EG chuck up bricks for a few days.
