Harden is who he is. He's proven this since he's been here (and in the finals with the Thunder). James is an amazing regular season player. He may be one of the best scorers we've seen, but he is not a killer when you need him most. When the pressure is on, Harden is not your guy. He's proven this time and time again, so we should stop expecting this of him. I have. CP is a killer (he damned near led us to the promise land before his injury vs. GS). He's doing his best to put the rockets away as well with an inferior Thunder squad. Kudos to him. Luka, as we all saw has that killer in him at 21 yrs old. We've never seen Harden take over a game when we needed him most. What we have seen is James make dumb mistakes, jack up dumb shots, and make failed attempts at drawing fouls when the referees swallow the whistle. I hope WB is back tomorrow to offset Harden's shortcomings, otherwise its back to houston and watching the rest of the playoffs from the coach. Because I dont think the Rockets can beat the Thunder in 7. They've figured us out and its alarming. Only time will tell.

His team is sucking balls when he is off the court, he could not even get a breather when they were up 13. Russ is energetic enough for 20 teams, why aren't the Rockets role players drawing off of that?

Eric Gordon cannot be relied on to be a second option. This is why we need Russ back to nullify the scoring and playmaking drop off when James sits.

gordon was in the tight situation besides hes terrible ball handler....harden should of sprinted and got the ball...the ball should of never been passed to gordon in the first place...but its well known and documented harden doesnt move his feet in the last minute...harden should of sprinted received the ball or sat on the bench
Cannot have it both ways. Are Lakers disempowered when Lebron sits? Because they are also net negative when hes off the court. Either you have a basketball great and you use him or you dont. This empowerment crap is ridiculous, step up when it's your time. Been like this at any level.
The bench should be made in the regular season. We have seen moments of greatness from our bench but not so much now. OKC has been out playing us.

He isn’t the problem. Right now he does not have much help. I do however have an issue with him passing up open layups for 3s and his play in the 4th quarter of the last 2 games. He iced game one with a beautiful step back midrange. The last 2 games he has passed up 2 open layups and cheesed 3 step back 3s in crunch time. It’s the playoffs he needs more variation.
