I too subscribe to Breitbart. I only say that because I received a chain letter similar to your friends claim. In all seriousness I have no idea what is happening in LA, I can only speak on Chicago. I am white, I have been to a number of the protests and even while rioting is taking place and there has been no racial issues that I have personally seen. I did see some looting though. I mostly just watched what happened. Prior to the protest size growing large the police were jerks. Once the crowds were large they seemed a lot more professional.

Some times people can have an agenda AND pay the bills. He certainly isn't apolitical. Supposedly he isn't a US citizen, isn't in the US and has never visited the USA.
I was being facetious regarding what people like him and Andy Ngo are portraying as these first hand accounts. They might be first hand accounts but they certainly aren't their first hand accounts.

I'm in LA and I don't believe your friend. At least if you are correct about the time frame. Two weeks ago there was not violence associated with protests. If your friend was outside of LA maybe.
That's the partisanism ...we all know he's a right wing hack , that doesn't mean what he's filming isn't factual. It is. There are a host of people on both sides of the isle that do this. We just have to be aware of both and not let their words / opinions distract us from the truth of the matter. Really no different than watching Fox or CNN when you get right down to it. Partisan hack - absolutely. Source of information , yes that too.
That contradicts itself. If he's selectively showing you something then how is it factual? He's not filming the right wingers being the provocateurs is he? He's intentionally showing you one side. How so? Is he going to fire himself? As bad as CNN and FOX are, there is at least some accountability whereas there is zero to very little for all these self proclaimed provocateurs.
