Who is harden holding back? He got the shooters a billion open looks and they missed them so who is he holding back? Who else besides harden without Russ out there do you want handling the ball?

Harden can't cover for Gordon's idiocy.

It’s absolute lunacy to blame Harden for the shooters who keep missing after he creates wide open looks for them

I don't think the stats are right actually. Harden is up there but doesn't lead in all of the categories

Disagree. Numbers are a helluva lot less biased than the human eye and brain.

I'm not saying that Harden is holding back anyone. I'm not excusing the open shooters for failing or Morey for failing to deliver better shooters.
But I keep asking myself if this is something that looks great in offensive ratings, but hurts the team on the long term. Adjusting the roster to this style has been achieved to a great cost.

But man, you know what? to be honest man, today I'm not for arguing and less of all with other Rockets fans. It's been a really though stretch of games for me.

D’Antoni spam 3 ball offense has never worked and will never work if the shooters are as bad what they are. They Rockets don’t have one professional marksman on this roster. In Phoenix he had some great shooters like Quentin Richardson and co but here it’s hot and miss.
This Roster doesn’t cater to his offense

Ok outside of Ben Mclemor who is a terrific shooter,

I'm serious so you're saying if the rockets were led by someone else you expect them to be higher seeded and not tied with OKC right?

Harden + healthy Porzingis + Carlisle and the current group of Mavs players is a championship team.

Porzingas would turn into a spot up corner 3 pt shooter on the Rockets.

That might be nice and all, but it's sad that already after 4 games in the 1st round Harden has shown again why people are critical of him and doubt him. He's just not built like other leaders and star players who step up when things get tough, perform under pressure and work twice as hard to take the team on his back. Harden is just not that guy. He needs others to do that with him or for him. It is just is the way it is and we have to accept it. I just will never understand it and to me it shows a lack of caring about winning and doing whatever it takes, but my perspective does not equate truth.

How can he be limiting his teammates productivity when he's the one who creates opportunities for them? If an open shot doesn't go in on a Tucker 3, for example, how is that smoke on Harden? He's the primary reason why Tucker was open in the corner.

Rivers and Gordon needs to be better ballhandlers and playmakers when Harden sits, since Westbrook is out.

But to say Harden limits his teammates' productivity is like saying LeBron limits his teammates' productivity. Both just aren't true.

Absurdly cut and dried comment. You're roping a 1-off critique into something it's not. You're REACHING.

People can criticize players. Even the good ones. This isn't little league. They don't all get trophies. And in Harden's case, he still has no trophies.

No. He actually has really impressive iso and post up moves. He looks like a smooth operator.

Why are you so prolific when Rockets lose?

Where is your vitriol when Rockets win by double digits?

Sure! whatever you want to call it, it’s still what we got.

if that’s what you think, you need to start rooting for the others to step up. Sounds hopeless with harden. You gotta root for something.
