If the FT disparity is even we win.

Rockets 33 FTs to Thunder 62 last 2 games.

Harden needs to stop leaving all those open layups on the table in that he had which he instead kicked it it to the bricklayers. 2 ponts is still 2 points

No one like to watch okc vs Lakers, refs should stand with Rockets. I think westbrooks cannot play in this series. I just hope Houston can win next match.

Their legs are tired, you can see it in how they shoot too. They come out hot, get no rest and die because the other team is fresh. We need to go deeper in the bench.

Because they are attacking the hoop instead of jacking up threes

We can't win without Westbrook, he is the reason why we went to 5 out offense. We don't have the easy lob dunks anymore.

    Based on what?

And who cares? Refs didn't cost us that game. Incompetent basketball in the 4th quarter (for the 90th time) cost us the game.

I'd have to rewatch but a potential reason for the Rockets resorting to jacking up 3s is due to no whistles when there's contact on their drives.

That disparity is way too big.

    Unfortunately this is the
offense. Drive and kick out passes

based on the fact those were supposed to be OKC “home” games and the fact that the Reffing literally could not get any worse for us than it has the last 2 games .

no doubt we could have played better , but no need to play better if you’re up 10 or 20 more . Reffing is a factor . There is no one single thing that “costs” you a game . It’s always a combination of things

A common fallacy. The Rockets have had plenty of large leads that they have let fade away late because they are incompetent in the 4th quarter and have zero strategy or diversification to their game.

Blame the refs if you'd like, and yes, they were bad, but that ignores the real problem of why this team will not win a championship in this era.

The media and some of us, aren't hamming this home enough. We have a walking triple double on the bench with unmatched intensity and heart. Plug this dude in asap. That being said, the last two games were winnable and our IQ overall is subpar

I’m not “blaming the refs” I’m saying they are a factor . To say they are not is incorrect .

how can you so assuredly separate poor strategy and just being cold ? If we generate a wide open 3 pointer (which we did some of the time) how can you assume a closer shot is easier ? Which shot do you think our guys practice more ?

We do try to take it to the rim , harden does have a floater game (if not the stepback 2) . An issue with our strategy is if you are getting mugged at the rim with no call (and the other team is not being reffed the same ) then if you miss your 3’s you’re ****ed .

But it always comes down to making shots .

I’m with you in that MDA’s (and our players) strategies need to evolve in response to the refs . They are in our players heads and they spotted OKC like 35 points between the last 2 games . It’s truly been spectacular.

Here’s the issue . I think the league knows this . I think we get more favorable whistles the next game . If we go in hot headed thinking they are gonna screw us again we might lose anyways just from not having our cool . We are in a bit of a quandary and MDA has to get this one right . It will be a problem in later rounds too , assuming we make it .
