As the @The Cat put it perfectly on Twitter just now was it a gamble the Rockets will most likely end up regretting? He seemed healthy during shootarounds and was moving well. IMO with there only being one day off between games would one day really make a difference? Also you run the risk of overworking your other star player who could get injured with an increased workload.

    In hindsight......

Yes. I understand the gamble though. We should have closed out game 3 and we probably chalked it up to "chance" or "it happens". We should have closed out game 4, but we Rocket'ed ourselves.

Rockets should be wrapping this series up on Wednesday...Russ could’ve missed this entire series if the Rockets weren’t such a dumb team

OKC is doing all they can to just barely squeak out victories with the Rockets playing so braindead, but u can’t trust the Rockets to not repeat their moronic play, and we all know the bricks will continue, so now Russ has to come back so that we can put an end to this tomfoolery and finish this series

    No .

We should have swept without him . Combo of refs and poor play is why we are 2-2. Maybe the league has mandated we cannot move onto the next round with a fully rested Russ . IDK .

No way for us to know. We don’t know how hurt he really is. I have no problems with keeping him out if he’s not 100%. The series is far from over.

We should have won the game anyway.

Harden and the Rockets should have swept these clowns. Harden and MDA are incapable of being ruthless. They don't end dreams, they are too polite.

I mean none of us truly know exactly what Westbrook's health is. Maybe he's really not 100%

You can't just go by what he looks like in a shootaround

No the mistake we made was not play with the amazing defensive intensity we had in game 1 and 2. After game 2 I was like wow Rockets really are going places, that defense is stifling. Game 3 and 4 they went back to their old ways, the focus and effort just isnt the same.

    True
but I think the refs had a part in that
too many ticky tack foul calls

We're underestimating the Thunder, they didn't just magically become the 5th seed.

We keep resting Westbrook because we think we can win this series without him. If we were down 2-0 after G2, I guarantee you Westbrook would've started playing in G3.

CP3 is also making timely shots late in the 4th like he did when he played for us against the Warriors. The momentum felt like it has swung in favor for the Thunder. On top of the reffing, we really need Westbrook back badly.

This is funny, we dont know how bad the injury is for Westbrook, maybe he actually cant play unless ya have some inside info that he can and it wont bother him

No, rest him until he is healthy. If he is not healthy, don’t play him.

This is OKC basketball, they keep it close and play well in the 4th. We don’t need anything else to beat these guys, the rockets are just not playing great right now. Wake up and shut the door

That doesnt change the fact that he should have called a timeout.

what mistake? he's has a confirmed strained quad which is a soft tissue injury. and someone who is mainly athleticism that's something you in no way rush back. the one instant he ruptures it, he's done period. people who think hes just sitting on the sideline and able to play are highly mistaken.

We have a MVP sits with MDA, I think it is better coached by MDA especially calling timeout and making strategy. Today shooting accuracy is good. If westbrooks has injury, it is better let him take rest
