. Thank goodness I was working while watching the first half of that game.

Seriously people stop whining about Harden.

The team was 3/26 on 3pts in the mid 3rd + 4th quarter!!
And those were on WIDE open looks. You can’t win a game with such poor shooters from deep.

hell, he's playing at half speed....walks the ball up every time, passes the ball off and removes himself from the play, drives and has a layup and passes out for a 3 (how'd that turn out ?). 43 minutes but not 43 minutes of 100% top motor energy.

 

Its tough being a rockets fan because Harden and MDA walk right into ridicule. Like, the game is there for you multiple times.. Take these bums out.. run it right down their throats. stop playing around. My biggest worry is harden is too cool for any moment.. There is never any urgency..

Harden routinely make Rockets fan look foolish.

When you're all in you're all in. I'm all about the three ball when it's falling but for f*cks sake when you're 3-23 fake the three and take it to the hole hard. Get some points and demoralize them a bit.

 

The lack of urgency was apparent for James today. Didn't start attacking until it was too late.

 

Dort is definitely troubling Harden. Remember Game 1 Dort was out.

How in the hell Dort played 12 minutes with 5 FOULS I'll never know!!!!

 

I am so ****ing angry words cannot even describe... This is why Harden gets (and deserves) so much flak from the national media. No sense of urgency, lackadaisical af, and no killer instinct. Can't drive? Lemme just make a pass to a well-defended teammate or jack a 35 foot moron 3. Sees lane open up, drives and passes up open layup for a contested 3 from House or Tucker.

I dont think "too cool" is the right term. He fears big moments and shelters with no emotion and energy when those moments arise.

 

Harden didn't try to attack him off the dribble at all. Failed post-ups, chucking long threes...

 

Relax man. Regardless of the roller coaster rides we been on with Harden, we've had a damn good ride. Do you really want to be the Kings/Suns etc? Sure, I would love to have one championship in this era, but **** going back to the dark ages.

I get it though, it's frustrating, I'm just as frustrated as you.

 

Harden had a few bad TOs late, had 6 TOs in the game.

OKC was really good at defending too, so I'll give them credit for that.

Other than that, even with the 6 TOs, Rockets obviously should still have won this. 80% of the blame goes to MDA's system. It should be obvious that if you can't hit your 3s just drive to the basket like everyone else here is saying.

Gonna have to go back through this game and watch why we were so afraid to drive in the 2nd half of the game.

Im never going to get used to Harden walking the ball up the court. Just attack.. Harden is so slow with the action.. you can root for this guy, but I keep saying this: I haven't trusted Harden since that game 4/5 Spurs series. I always feel he is about to let me down in the must embarrassing way possible.

if Harden loses to CP3 in the first round it will be the most embarrassing moment in his tenure as a Rocket. I cant even imagine what will happen.

I know one thing if rocket lose to thunder my fandom is going on the shelf.

 

Harden three straight possessions iso step back three BRICKS. This is playoff Harden late in the pressure games. Turning over the ball in stupid fashion. Supposedly best player on the court but can't take over the big game against a former star that's past his prime. Don't want to hear bs excuses for a guy that doesn't at least leave his heart on the floor when it matters. If he did that he would at least be respected.

 

It's the same old song and dance. That's why we got Russ. If Russ can't do it, then to hell with it.
