At this point everyone gets some of the blame.

Lame owner who does not want to spend with the top tier but expects top result.
Stubborn GM who is so in love with his ideas, can't even see how his intra division rivals are even expanding on what we do. Keeps bringing in the exact kind of experiments every time.
Weak coach who refuses to hold everyone accountable, does not propose set plays for many years in a row at any point.
Weak character players who enable Harden through their daily interactions
Star refusing to change his game. And at this point, no one on his world is giving him feedback, he does not care about the Rockets legacy as we do, we are a vehicle in his scoring. That's the trade we accepted, he is living to his part, it seems this is ours, falling short year after year.

A lot going on on this series for him, even with all his scoring, his career is growing up to be this decade version of one of our rivals and we are in his world.

    General Rule.
Refs keep them in the game . . .then let them close it out

We should have AND COULD HAVE swept this series without Westbrook. Instead, now it'll be a long series and THUNDER HAVE ALL THE MOMENTUM, and I dont even care if Russ plays.

    What a monstrous disappointment.

There's the biggest difference. We're not getting any free throws and they are. They've won games because of that.

Free throws killed us in this game. The Rockets did not close out well, but when you have FTs at this rate, it is hard to win.
    Houston...9/10
    OKC...22/28

28-10 FT disparity, mixed with low IQ plays, and lack of adjustments...recipe for disaster

the play has always been the pnr with Jeff Green and for some reason MDA and Harden don't want to run it..

Honestly this is why I thought the Russ thing would work because when his team gets down like this you can see hie's pissed off. Harden has this "Whatever, we'll win." mentality.

You can see it too. He only started getting his own layups the last two minutes as if the previous 8 minutes didn't matter.

Harden just takes things for granted man, it feels that way, like if the game is tied he doesn't seem worried about it. That's fine and dandy sometimes but sometimes you need some fire and passion and someone that just wants to go out there and wreck **** up.

So they blamed the last game on House, so who's this one on?

Stop shooting all those damn 3's. Not getting anywhere with this b.s.

The Rockets think it’s going to be easy. If they don’t give a crap they need to just go home. Absolutely embarrassing that they can’t beat this team with Harden.

This loss was on Harden, not D'antoni. Harden took a lot of ill advised shots, especially 4 consecutive contested 3s from almost 30 feet away. When the team struggles from 3s, he needs to stop settling and start driving in.

For those blaming D'antoni for not resting Harden, this is the playoffs. Starters are expected play more minutes. Plus, OKC was making a run.

Harden with another game with pretty numbers but just atrocious effort and decision making most of the second half.

Unfortunately his cult members here are going to use it to deflect all blame from Harden.

Luka ballin' with a bum ankle, CJ with a broken back but James is "tired" and "exhausted" after a 4 month layoff. LOL always an excuse with this guy in the playoffs...

It's the refs, it's his teammates, he's tired, he's exhausted, blah blah blah

and this damn site keeps crashing at the end of the last 2 games.

This is disappointing af. How about instead of taking 57 threes pr whatever it was, you take 47 and try and drive and get a foul. I hope russ is 100% cz this team is too damn dumb. Russ will take some to the basket atleast. I left work early for this smh

Call me Harden hater or Lin troll but Harden deserves all the critism he gets. Constantly getting blow by, lazy passes, poor shot selection. He will never win a championship, period.
