I'm here for the Luka mania! I stupidly doubted this kid prior to the draft but have been a huge fan ever since watching him play his first NBA game. He might be the best player in the league next year... At 21-22 yrs old. Crazy.
No, THEY ARENT. Hardaway is just having a career year, that happens. Otherwise every other person on this team CAN SHOOT. Luka gets them open shots but he's not making them efficient shooters. Also Hardaway can do more than just shoot the 3, look at what he did this game, was that Luka too? The mavericks have a high offensive rating without Luka on the court as well. Is he magically making them better from the bench? cmon man. That's not controversial, their actual abilities as efficient shooters are not increased by Luka.
no kidding. MJ was still in college i think. kawhi was just learning how to run an offense. only lebron with his 27/7/7 2 years out of high school (which would basically be 30/9/9 now) was up here.
there was a stat about playoff game shooting 25% and under on 15 or more shots. cousy and heinsohn from the 60's had the most (13 and 12 i think), but the next person on the list was paul george with 8. he just added another one today. 3 in a row! three games shooting under 25% in a row. that's almost impossible. edit: oops, i guess he only had 14 shots. sorry playoff p.
luka is the real deal but tbh im more angry at the hawks than jealous at the mavs. outside of injury, hard to imagine him not being the face of the league for the next decade.
