Ain’t nothing reflexive about it. It’s what u do, constantly. Him sticking out his leg is dirty, period...but here u are with the “oh, I think he thought Harden was running through him so he stuck out his leg”

Are u kidding me? Man, stop...

we need a dude who can **** people up
We need MDA to be willing to unleash that dude

GSW won in part because of guys like green and bogut . There has to be the threat of retaliation.

That’s bullshit. I can point to countless examples where I seek out and find agreement. That is the point, and that’s what I try to do in every thread including this one. And if others are saying something I disagree with, I will try to explain why I disagree and see if there’s any common ground. Sometimes it is found, and the conversation was actually productive. But quite often, I end up having to defend myself from accusations of “contrarianism”, and the attempt to find agreement becomes a huge waste of time.

We need to send in Sheriff Bruno, the long arm of the law.

Yup . Him or Carroll , carrol just looks sharp , like he would cut you on impact .

when you send a hard foul like that it immediately draws attention to the game and the refs have to tighten it up

imo they were able to screw us that much in the first 3Q because no one cares . Only rockets fans want to do a review of the Reffing . If Bruno comes in a clothesline’s CP3 then the whole game is out under a microscope.

I would like that microscope because I truly believe the refs fixed the game .

I am not that upset about the rockets losing , we could have done more to win . I am upset that the officiating was so bad I think the game was fixed . Either the refs helped OKC (which goes agaisnt the fairness of the game ) or they are so incompetent as to miss 10 fouls for us in the first half and give OKC 5-10 phantom calls .

Someone needs to teach Ben that when you get below the belt, you need to be even more dramatic, drop to the floor and make a whole scene out of it. You need to sometimes put the refs in a position that they have no choice but to review.

It is unnatural to make a fist when making contact with someone unless you are intending to inflict pain. It's so unnatural that it is AGAINST THE RULES and specifically results in an ejection.

A punch is defined as a close fisted strike of ANY kind. So you are saying that it's ok to punch someone in the grown as it's natural - but in fact the NBA says that unnatural or not, it should have been an automatic ejection.

You are missing the crucial part of what makes a punch a punch. It is a close fisted strike with the fist. If you elbow someone with a closed fist, it's an elbow, not a punch. If you asserting that he hit him with his fist, then post the frame that shows it:

I don't find an angle in that clip that shows fist-to-body contact, which you are asserting is clear cut. It is clear that he swung upward, apparently seeking contact with the forearm, and then he pushed downward as he went into his step back. I can't tell if his hand is close-fisted or not on my screen. Like I said, post the frame, or if you have a higher-res video or a better angle video then post that.

To me, it looks like this kind of move except it lands below the belt and is therefore flagrant (I can't tell if Harden hand is close-fisted here either, but if it was it wouldn't be a punch unless the strike was leading with the fist):

The video will be looked over by the league. If it's as clear-cut as you make it out to be, and they have better video evidence than we do, then Paul should be suspended.

Elbow or fist, the act is flagrant.

Throwing a fist or elbow at someone's head is essentially the same thing.

So if fist is flagrant 2 then an elbow should be as well, no matter the body part targeted.

    Common sense.

Aint gonna happen. But whatever, we have enough to fix on our side that can help us win. I like CP3, I agree that he can be dirty, but he isn't going to have another game 3 in this series.

ha...only u would provide that type of response to a video of CP3 blatantly sticking out his leg to trip Harden, but I’m supposed to believe that’s some attempt to find common ground...right...

    no, it reeks of contrarianism

your contrarian reputation is well deserved

How about you focus on the play, rather than on me? You asked my opinion on it, I gave it, you disagree, and that’s it. Leave it at that.

As much as I would like to see Bruno; he is not that type of player. Bruno is not a hammer type. We need HARD fouling like in hockey.
