The right wing hate rally today in Portland was organized by Amber Cummings who is not from Portland, nor are her groupies from Portland. The "other interest groups" were a white supremacist gang called the American Guard that Cummings uses for security. This is false. The organizer of the event was from San Francisco. Neither the Proud Boys, Patriot’s Prayer, or the American Guard are from Portland. Not one single time have I denied there are people from all over among these groups in Portland. You need to pay attention to what I say. Now, prove that there are no Portland people among them defending their homes. I have seen video of people who come out of their houses only to be bullied, harrassed and even knocked around. Prove to me that Portlanders are not among some of these groups defending their city and homes against this outrageous stupidity all because of an incompetent democratic mayor, who for some insane reason wants this to continue in his city and even refused help and ordered it to go away shortly after it arrived.
As someone who was a concerned citizen who went out to defend my town I can tell you there were alt-Right people who came here from out of town. They were not people who came to Minneapolis to help defend the town and were not welcome. In fact they were also here to cause damage and destruction. In my neighborhood a group with out of state plates threw a molotov cocktail into a Somali owned pharmacy. There was also this guy Who turned out to be tied to a White supremacist group.
Yes you said "As I said, other groups are coming to these events also." and then you talk about concerned citizens. I am a concerned citizen and those other groups weren't concerned citizens. They weren't there to help. They were there to cause destruction and mischief.

I don't know I'm not in Portland but it wouldn't surprise me if there were. People like myself didn't get much coverage especially national. I agree the media likes the controversy and excitement and neighbors organizing neighborhood watches isn't as exciting as images of burning buildings and LE clubbing people. Things don't look good from the news but at the same time from what I can tell is that not all of Portland, or Seattle, is up in flames just as most of Minneapolis wasn't up in flames. I can tell you though that the outside groups that came into Minneapolis many were not there to do good. This wasn't "fine people on both sides" in fact there were some very bad people on both sides. That's why I have no problem saying there were people on the Left who came into Minneapolis to "F^(% Sh^t UP!" but there were also those from the Right who were causing trouble.
