What if Jerry Seinfeld went one show without being funny?

Harden's job isn't to score points in the paint and midrange, it's to score points. Period. I honestly don't even understand the point of the what if.

He should shoot some post-up step-back middies on Dort. He could get that any time down.

yes, Dort is doing a good job containing his penetration, but out beyond the arc, he is getting his standard quality of looks, and bricking...it’s making Dort look like he’s young Ron Artest

 

The 3-pointer is essential to what he does and what the Rockets do. It would not look good, obviously, but it would be interesting to see how he might adapt. It could be a worthwhile exercise for him to do in practice, to round out his scoring attack a bit more for situations where the opposing team is taking away good 3-point looks.

 

We've seen Harden go 1 for ... a lot of times. Does that count?

 

Ease up. Didn't Kobe try to not shoot once? Let Harden do something crazy. You know what's CRAZY - that it's more normal for him to take 20 three point attempts than 0. But I'm a 99'er so.

 

I’d say if for wtv reason harden decided to not shoot a 3 in one game, he could prob drop at least 28 ppg

Yeah. Around 25-28 ppg on a average night.
If he goes berserk he can get 40 but would need 25 shots or more.

 

I think he'd maybe put up DeRozan type numbers. A lot of the drives he gets are predicated on him being a threat from 3.
