So does Jeff VG, Bullard, literally any other announcer I've heard. That doesn't make her special.

I don't care about her voice, nor her enthusiasm for certain players.

She's right now unapologetically rooting for the OKC. And if this is because of her favoritism for her players, it's called demagoguery and is akin to dishonesty to me.

I don't get that. EVERYBODY watches these game through a "narrative". All the people complaining about her are obviously listening to her comments through a narrative that she somehow despises the Rockets.

 

That's because they are. Smart girls are scary. She clearly understands the game of basketball, calls it out when someone fcks up a play, shes extremely knowledgable about the players on the court and their backstories.

She doesn't seem to be afraid to voice her opinion about players regardless of their status, she played college ball, superstar players around the league love and respect her (including Harden, Durant, Curry). I mean I get it...it sucks to hear someone say, "your team did <insert thing here> wrong." But if shes saying that it's because it's true...unless its a mistake and that's something everyone does.

I can give some support to your views on burke , i think she's normally good too .

However, i think tonight both commentators have been awful . Anyone with eyes should have seen how badly we were getting screwed. Unfortunately , if Doris wants to continue being a broadcaster for TnT then she cant say " holy **** the rockets are getting raped " .

so the refs made the commentators have to cover for their sloppy asses ( like you couldnt have done it over the course of the game ? ) ( no joke its the worst half ive ever seen .. worse than our GSW games because the warriors were better and didnt need as much cover )

AND they pissed everyone off .

So, of course when the broadcasters try to be nuetral or say anything positive about the thunder ( who are being killed despite the help ) we see it as absolute bullshit .

As for me , i had to turn commentary off. I cant watch BS and listen to BS at the same time .

 

We're gonna need a challenge soon. With a replay refs can re-adjust their views.
