makes it real obvious what the league office wants when they call it this way. im shocked but give credit to the Rox for gutting it out and having a lead. you HAVE to believe the calls start going the other way to make this a little less obvious

She was whining about the blatant hold and pull by Adams until the replay showed the CLEAR hold.

Just one of many examples of her favoritism.

My broadcast sound came back on and it sucks.

 

Yeah, she’ll be able to wear her pearls without getting mugged.

 

Did an announcer just said Harden with 16 points in the quarter, and CP3 with the response with 9 points and 3 assist in the half? Come on now lol.

 

Just imagine if Doris Burke badmouthed Hartenstein with 50% of her efforts. That's what it's like for us.

 

I have no problem with Doris' commentary. It feels pretty standard. I think some of these guys here just can't stand female commentator. She's about average as far as TNT/ESPN crew goes.

I've never been so mad at officiating in a game.....like ever, this is ridiculous.

 

James looks exhausted, the real reason we should bring Russ back soon. He's 3 of 18 from 3 over the past 2 games because he doesn't have his legs. He had 2 hip check fouls on D in the second quarter alone, and a third foul on a blow by and 1. But, yes that bald ref has kept OKC in this game otherwise. I miss Scott Foster, he's been that bad.

 

My take:

1. Refs are not calling fouls for us that they do for OKC, i.e. fake home court advantage and anti-Rockets sentiment, especially the sequence a few minutes back where it was just fouling for standing there. Ridiculous. CP3 is allowed to do anything on defense isn't he?

2. We are allowing this to mess with our heads, cannot do that.

3. Harden was forcing it a bit, but his attack mode has been great. Loved how he gave Tucker that bullet pass because he knew Tuck needed that.

4. Defense is great, Thunder just making tough shots.

5. Driving game is there.

6. Still not recognising a hot hand, Green was on fire, but couldn't get enough shots. Need to be better.

7. Gordon, Rivers & House continuously lose control of the ball on a drive attempt. Need to check that.

8. Both commentators are showing bias, being very excited over every shot Thunder make, but then when Harden crosses up Shroder only afterwards there's some small love from the black guy. Doris Burke doesn't even respond.

9. We are swiping too much at the ball and committing silly fouls, need to be smarter.

10. This series will be a sweep.

 

Withstanded the onslaught of the refs 1st half. Let's 2nd half strong.

 

I feel like they need to check these "refs" at halftime. I have a hunch they're all statefarm agents called in by Chris Paul...

 

No standing around and shoot the threes. Keep it hopping and moving.

National sports analysts when talking about the Rockets sound like the adults in the peanuts cartoons to me. Wah wah wah wah wah wah.

 

Yeah. I know she has some fans here, but I’m more apt to like her when she’s not doing a Rockets game.
