    It would have been genius.

But Grant had already been traded to Nuggets before Rockets completed trade for Westbrook.

Or am I misremembering the timeline?

If Tilman was not talking out of his ace, Rockets should be able to purchase a SRP at the very least.

Right? But not holding my breath.

Jerami Grant appears to have defense issues.

Could be why he doesn't start for DEN.

One can only dream to have a shooter like that next to Harden and Westbrook.

I’m sure DM will be active, as always, but trading EG is going to be incredibly difficult.

He’s top 40 in the league in guaranteed money owed, and to further complicate things, he doesn’t make a lot annually. That limits your options for trading for the traditional big names on bloated contracts with high annual salary (Love, Horford, etc). No way in hell we’re including Tuck or Roco to help match salaries.

And then the ones that are in his annual salary range (Turner, AG, etc) will require other assets attached.

Not impossible....but that contract and the perception that he’s declining aren’t helping our cause.

The more EGo plays and Rockets keep winning, handily, the higher his value.

If Rockets win it all, he will be a commodity.

Rather have Kelly Oubre Jr. over Jimmy.

Jimmy would slow the pace too much, Oubre would ramp it up.

Jimmy is better, but he is temperamental. I’m okay with Oubre, but if House keeps on improving, then there isn’t much need for him.

Myles should be our target. Wood is more explosive, but Detroit won’t let him go.

I can’t believe you guys, including Bima, actually believe Tilman is going to take on money or buy picks. Seriously, what is wrong with you?

The Rockets have never even used their MLE since he’s arrived. Stop being delusional.

You're tell me if Buddy Hield was made available for Gordon and a pick, you wouldn't take it? The guy is a career 41 percent 3 point shooter that shoots off the dribble. He also shot 46 percent on catch and shoot 3's last season. I would give anyone not named Harden, Westbrook, Covington for him.
