After four long years of Trumpism, what will people here do to pass the time?

That’s the kind of thinking that cost Hillary election. I’ll be on my guard until January 21...

30% is the chance of a last second could-be game winning 3 point shot. I wouldn't bet against it.

    More editorials about showers.

In all seriousness, it did not escape notice there was apparently little discussion of single payer at the DNC and we all know that is the most cost effective way to get all Americans health insurance.

As soon as Biden is elected, I will be annoyed when and if he pursues a Republican light agenda.

Since I'm not a partisan hack, I will see if our democracy is still under attack under by Biden. If he is actually willing to heal this country and make America a better place for all its citizens.

Well that is a constant in the universe...

Seriously though nothing is "sewn up". That said if Biden wins the Presidency there will be many fights. As I was mentioning in another thread even though Democrats in 2009 - 2010 had both houses of Congress including a supermajority in the Senate didn't mean everything was peaceful. There were some very bitter fights over stimulus and health care.

    Not enough options bro.

But anyways, Rome is burning and electing one guy doesn't solve that and leave everyone off the hook.

The issue is whether Dem leadership will wuss out and not smash the filibuster. There were a lot of threats about McConnell's chicanery, but these people are more politicians than partisans and know that governing has more consequences than little to no governing (Party of No)
