Mail in voting is such a disaster that trump, his wife, his family, members of his cabinet all vote by mail. And conspiracy? trump out and out said if people vote by mail republicans including trump himself will lose.
It will only be a disaster if those in charge are successful in making it one. Had the postal service not been tampered with it would have been fine. The USPS handles all of the income tax filings and certainly, the government would not be okay with something that might hamper them collecting our tax dollars. Of course, some states have had mail-voting for years and have had no problems with it at all.
