Sorry about your uncle and my condolences. You would have no argument from me about the VA and how our blood and treasure are being treated. After I got out of the military in the 80s, I had to use one of the VA facilities in South Florida for a third grade ankle sprain. They made me wait for 8 hours before I get to see a PA and he gave me a script for some extra strength Tylenol, I threw the script back in his face, laughed and hobbled out of that badly run facility. When I moved to TX, again I wanted to try the big VA facility in the Texas Medical center, do you thing that place would get their shiet together? That’s a big hell no, when it is being run by incompetent, idiotic bureaucrats, it is the same everywhere. I am extremely blessed with good health and the only 2 times I had to use the VA in the past, they failed me big time. I have seen other vets with much more serious health issues passing out while waiting for their turn to be seen. The VA under Mr Trump is different now, the lousy people in charge in the past, a lot of them are gone. The people running the show take Mr Trump’s promise to our vets seriously and things are better now. It is not perfect but it’s a far cry from past years.

I can also post all the tweets of Nazis, Proud Boys, and hate groups coming from out of town to be agitators at these protests. This right winger that fired into a crowd is from Wisconsin, a well known hate monger. Somehow, all of this information doesn't get any of your collective attention. As I said before, this is militant police, hate group agitators, and protesters/agitators all coming together in a chaotic stew. Here is a Portland police officer talking about how they can't use de-escalation training without more funding for more training. Maybe they should stop buying all their battle gear and use that money on training, I guess that might work. So nightly they declare a riot, whether one is actually taking place or not, they fire into the crowds and then they start chasing people. I can't find it now but I had a video of a wall of protesters with shields and a gang of police running into them and jumping through them like a scene out of Braveheart. There's all kinds of stupidity going on in Portland all around.
