It shouldn't be "news" when a rando does it. It's a bit note worthy when the campaign manager for the incumbent president says innacurate stuff.
So, breaking news to people who have not yet smelled the coffee. In general, if I see a 5-10 min clip on facebook or some form of media, I usually ask for more information -- because that's not enough for me to understand the intricate details to establish my moral/political compass on. If I see something on twitter where it takes 10 seconds or less for me to process it -- it's typically nonsense. My standard is 50-min documentaries that actually discuss the details, discuss both sides of the issue, and disclose the conundrum fully. Even then, I want to watch one from both sides of the coin. Needless to say, a 7th day adventist or a Jehova Witness that come to my front door asking for 5-10 minutes to convert, I tell them that's clearly not enough time for me to decide my eternity. If they ask for more time, I tell them I'm still worried about the next 3 months of my life, and I'll go look it up on google before I talk to someone about it for 5-10 minutes.
Not sure what you're getting at -- I already called Trump an idiot for using it. People are very divided, and you shouldn't feed into it by pointing out some idiot follower of a narrow political spectrum, ridiculing it, and saying somehow that this person represents all of the people in the other political spectrum. Why? Because that's what the people on the other side are also doing. I'm honestly trying to help the left -- be patient and open-minded to help people make the right decisions, and get the voters to the booths to get your candidate elected. Win the votes in the states you need to win the election, CONVINCE the people in those states that Biden is the right candidate instead of saying they're all mentally disabled.
I will also point out that the Trafalgar Group is a Republican polling operations. That said the Emerson polls showed the race tightening in Minnesota and there is a recent Rasmussen poll showing Trump's approval rating is at 51%. Note Rasmussen has been accused of having a Republican bias. At the moment I'm not going to consider these polls definitive but they may show that the CNN poll from a few days ago might not be as much of an outlier.

Uh... Hillary LOST the last election after winning the popular vote. That's the point. It's also why Bush won vs Al Gore. Stop shoving polls down my throat, do the due diligence of locking down votes in the states that matter to the campaign because not all votes are equal. That's what I mean by "being open-minded".
